Be one of the first to have a copy of Dark Futures Annual 1, in physical or electronic format and help Dark Futures improve in our second year!
For those who prefer a physical book, there are two options. The first option is the standard paperback edition, the same as the ones that will continue to be available. All paperback copies preordered through this campaign will come from the first printing. The second option is an extremely limited hardcover version of the anthology. These will not be available outside of this campaign and each copy will be hand numbered.
Electronic copies will come in the form of a DRM free PDF. These will be delivered via e-mail shortly after the conclusion of this campaign.
This is a flexible funding campaign and you will receive any items you order, even if the funding goal is not reached.
All support is appreciated!
Any amount you're able to contribute is greatly appreciated, even if it's less than the price of a copy of the anthology. Anyone who contributes even a single dollar will be thanked in a post on our site, as well as in the limited hardcover copies of the anthology.
If you'd like a tangible reward for less than the price of the anthology, we have an option where we will send you a postcard featuring this year's cover art.
Your support will help us continue to improve!
Any amount collected through this campaign that doesn't go directly toward fulfilling the contributor perks will be used to produce extra copies of the anthology for sale at cons, as well as helping us continue to improve Dark Futures. Stretch goals will be announced as we get closer to our funding goal.
About Us
Dark Futures (www.DarkFuturesFiction.net) is an online literary zine which launched in March 2013. In that time, we have improved our offering and continue to do so. We publish short stories or poems three or more times a month.
A goal from the start was to treat authors we work with well. We are a paying market and author pay rates were increased once during our first year of operation. We hope continue to offer a positive experience to writers, regardless of their past publication history, and to eventually be a qualifying pro market with both the SFWA and the HWA.
