I think that music has the power to unite people and is a medium for communication, which can have a positive impact on human consciousness and our behavior as a species.
Over the past three years I’ve invested over $20,000 developing, recording and releasing the music I make and I have found that the existing business models are not viable for the type of music that I make and the way that I make it.
In our day-to-day lives, music is one of the elements that determine the kind of trance states we inhabit and we change from one to another as we are exposed to different types of music; and yes, music can have a therapeutic impact as well.
I am not and do not intend to be held captive to genre or trends. I do not want to be told how I should think or dress or act on stage.
I don’t like the way that most record labels promote only what they call “mainstream” music. I want the music I make to be promoted by those who like it.
So I give you my latest creation ‘Death Of An Avatar’
For Those Who Don't Know Me:
I collaborated on ‘The Day That Never Was’, a live triple album
now being reworked as an opera.
Together We May See
The Second Horseman – Pollution And Global Climate Change
I combined Thappu with Guitar and Bass for the first time to
produce a new sound that has awakened a growing interest in this ancient
instrument that I will be using to produce a line of heritage releases.

I also released the single 'Walk On' which has been nominated
for Best Rock song at the VIMA Music Awards India
About Me
I picked up the
guitar in the year 2002 and played my first public performance in 2006 with
Tantrum and went on to play with various other bands and musicians and I soon
found myself, like Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, John McLaughlin,
and other such guitarists who have broken free of the confines of musical
genres, reaching out beyond the frontiers of human perception to bring back
melodies, compositions, and musical techniques that express content from
various states of awareness,
In January 2008 I
attended the World Congress on Psychology and Spirituality - a conference held
in Delhi, India where I met and interacted with people who were involved in the
spiritual aspects of music. Here I underwent a shamanic initiation with Holotrophic
Breathwork developed by Stanislav Grof.
In June 2009 I
founded the Nevi’im ashram in Chennai, India to further explore the spiritual
aspect of music, perceptual modification, music therapy, and conscious
evolution.
Following the global
economic collapse in 2009, I began to explore the dynamics of the global
economic collapse and its implications for the future and the possibilities of
expressing the impact of Global Warming and Civilizational Collapse through
music. And in January 2011 in collaboration with my brother Vije, I recorded
the Nevi’im ‘The Day That Never Was’, a live album aimed at
articulating and raising awareness of critical issues through music.
In March 2013 I
founded Moksha Studios, a place for musicians who are interested in exploring,
and composing music form various non-ordinary states of awareness.
In November 2013 I
was awarded the title of “Sasthrabhimani” in recognition of my
work in the field of music.
