Despite there will be place for exploration, puzzles and obstacles, the main point of the game is the combat. We want to make it as diverse as possible, yet understandable, to give you a lot space for creativity and style. There will also be a leveling system, which we will show in later updates here.
Here's an example of a simple combo you can do:

Not every attack/combo will be good against different monsters. For example, you shouldn't use a slow charged attack against a quick monster or a group of them. What you can do is to knock them back first, or to not let them hit you by using something fast. Some of the harder enemies will require a unique approach, like those who are protected from the front, but vulnerable from the back, and, of course, every boss.

Our main target is Steam, and the Greenlight campaign is up. Due to the upcoming changes to Greenlight, we need to hurry while it's still there, because the submission fee can get much higher than it is now. It's enough to just get greenlit now and we'll get a pass into the new system automatically.
By now, we are planning to release the game for PC, but we'd like to see our game on consoles too. If everything goes well, there's a good chance for Divinum to be there (some time after the PC release).
Once the campaign is close to success, we will reveal the stretch goals!![]()

Our story
We had a passion for gaming from our childhood and we spent a lot of time enjoying numerous games of various genres. At some point, we decided to make our own game. The work on Divinum began in fall 2016. Before that, we've done a large research on how to get into game industry and what it involves.
So far, we've been doing very well and we are increasingly improving in our fields. Now we know: that's exactly what we dreamed to be doing.![]()
We need your support to make Divinum great.
Feedback is very important in making any game better, and we would like if you shared your ideas and suggestions with us.
As main goal, we need just $1000. That would be enough to cover the most important expenses and let us release the game without a problem. There's a breakdown:
![]()
As you see, most of the money will go towards business and legal expenses. This includes copyright and trademark registration, business registration and running, website hosting and things like that.
The marketing costs are actually a reserve. If we do well without paid advertising, as well as any extra money, it will be spent on refining the game to be as good as possible.![]()
