Hello! My name is Shawn Burkett, and I love to make horror movies! I have been making Horror/Thriller films since 2011, and DFITW will be my third feature film. My love for horror films began in the early 90's when my grandfather took me to a video store and rented The Monster Squad. After that I was hooked and began renting titles such as, Sleepaway Camp, Slumber Party Massacre & Friday the 13th.

Below is a list of other films I have written & directed, as well as a few that I have been apart of.

The Film:

For the last year and a half I have been working on DFITW, and this film won't be a cheesy film by any means. But at the same time it will have mass amounts of gore, premarital sex, nudity, comedic plot points, impaling, camping, decapitations, and a bloody good time! And did I mention that this is a CREATURE FEATURE?!?!?

The Goal:

The initial goal to completely make this film is $7,327. And every penny of the will be going to the following.

-Blackmagic Cinema Camera Rental

-Canon Prime Cinema Lens Set Rental

-Rode NTG-3 Shotgun Mic & Windscreen Blimp Rental

- 2) Go Pro Hero 3 Black Edition Rentals

-Outdoor Lighting & Generator Rental (70% of this film is shot at night)

-2) ATV Rentals

-Tents & Camping Supplies

-Making the Creature Suit (made by FX genius Dustin Mills)

-Special FX for Prosthetic, Casts and Molding materials

-Lodging for the Cast (who will be camping out on set for the duration of filming)

*But even if we do not raise the entire goal, this film I will still be made*

The Impact

This film is massively important to myself and everyone who has been helping me workout the kinks. This project isn't just for fun, or a few friends making a film. This film will literally be a part of Horror Film History!
