Making a Classic Survival Horror Game
I've been working professionaly in videogames since 2000 for: Mircroids, Electronic Arts & Ubisoft. I have an opportunity right now to make my own survival horror game, but I need funding so I can both work on it full time and release it publicly.
Features:
- Multiple characters to choose from with unique features and abilities.
- All scenarios will be playable with online partners as an option
- Walk and Shoot
- Switch to over the shoulder cam any time you want to
- Auto aim in 3D, switch targets from nearest to farthest
- Dodging / Evasion moves to avoid being hit
- Unlockable weak characters for extra challenge
- Customizable difficulty level for action and puzzles: easy, normal or difficult
- Each character will talk

WHAT I NEED
- Money to cover my expenses for the entire year I will be working on this.
- Budget for Audio recording and quality voice acting.
- People talking about the game to anyone who is interested in Survival Horror Games.
- Contractual work, if you can help me get any as an artist, both 2D, 3D, modelling, texture, animation, illustration, storyboarding...
- A better Camera for texture capture, preferably a Canon Rebel t3 or t2
- If you have access to empty houses that I can take pictures of things such as floorings, wall, wallpaper etc, that would be very useful.
If funding allows it:
- If it's overfunded to the point I can afford assistants to handle building the game's environments and animation, I will do it. My plan for now is that I go on this project full tilt by myself.
I'm asking for 100k right now and I will release a full game next year. I will try for more funding. Ideally, I would need 100-300k, which isn't much considering the average game production cost is 5 million dollars.
