Egyptian Harem Girl Miniatures
Im putting together an exciting new range of semi-historical Egyptian figures inspired by a mix of Hollywood epics, archaeology and mythology for use in role-playing games, wargames and collecting. This range of metal miniatures will initially be focussed on the court and harem of the pharaoh, but it will also include some fantasy and mythological creatures as well. Your contributions will help to expand the range much quicker than I could manage relying solely on my own resources.
I am launching this range with a set of 3 Egyptian harem girl miniatures sculpted by the very talented Aaron Brown. The Egyptian girls make ideal concubines, servants, camp followers or slaves, and are true 28mm measured from top of the head to base of the foot. Check out the gallery for more images!
How May I Assist Pharaoh?
- This first set of miniatures have already been commissioned so I am able to show you the greens and the concept drawing on which they are based. The $1000 will help to cover production costs and give you the opportunity to acquire these excellent miniatures at an early stage in the development of the range
- A number of perks ranging from $8 to $100 have been offered so that anyone with an interest in these miniatures and the development of this range can make a contribution. I am also interested in your ideas and opinions on future sets for the Egyptian harem range - so please let me know!
- This first set of 3 Egyptian harem girl miniatures will be produced even if the $1000 goal is not reached. So everyone who contributes is guaranteed to receive their miniatures, which will be delivered in small zip-lock bags with plastic slotta bases. (Sorry - no blister packs yet!). The only set back in not making the $1000 target or more is a delay in the production of future sets for the range.
The Impact Of Your Contribution
The successful funding of this project will really help to move things forward with expanding the range by commissioning more miniatures to be sculpted. Future sets include alot of interesting and useful characters that are not often found in miniature including; dancers, musicians, the queen of Egypt and her attendants, servants, eunuch guards, food-taster, foreign concubines, pharaoh's favourites and even Egyptian vampires and demons. I will post some of my concept drawings on which these miniatures will be based in the gallery.
