Apathy, a legacy of hate. En Apatia.
A film created in Spain to share hope in desperate economic times.
IMM and INTMED films have partnered to create a tense drama to go into the cinemas across Spain and Europe. Death changes everything and this film challenges young people to think about God and the after life.
- IMM has offices in the USA and Spain and has worked on faith based programs for more than 30 years.
- The director of En Apatia has more than 18 years experience in media and the film has already won a Film Festival honorable mention attracting distributors.
- En Apatia has already successfully impacted the lives of the actors in the film who were not Christians. They were so moved by the script that they wanted to hear more.
- The budget weighed heavily on hiring professional and known actors in Spain so the audience will be more strongly drawn to the film.
- Successful funding will release this film but also open the door to bring other films with a message of God's hope to Spain and Europe. Few messages of hope arrive in the cinemas here. This is an incredible opportunity to introduce people to a new idea of God.
- We will be the first Christian producers and distributors officially registered with the Spanish government.
What We Need & What You Get
We need to raise $85,000:
- $33,000 finish production costs
- $15,000 publicity in Spain
- $37,000 distribution in cinemas in Spain and Europe
Your giving impacts people across the country of Spain to reconsider a God who loves them and sacrificed for them. With the successful release of this project, we will be able to bring more faith based films to Spain and Europe. This is the opportunity to open the door.
The Impact
No one is distributing Christian films in cinemas in Spain. It is rare to see a family oriented film. This is an opportunity to evangelize and share truth in the secular market place of Spain and into other countries in Europe. With a successful campaign, we intend to bring more than just the one film to the cinema but many more with a positive message for the European world.
- Our publicity plan is to involve the churches that do exist in Spain to bring their friends to the cinema.
- Spain has 1.2 million evangelicals. Less than 1% of the country are practicing Christians.
- En Apatia has already won an honorable mention at a secular film festival in Mexico, being chosen out of 900 films.
- Distributors have already expressed a desire to release En Apatia in Europe.
Other Ways You Can Help
