They're Protecting Your Butt!
Vampire, demons and Nephilim are all over the place. Demonic cults battle for world domination while the rest of the planet are simply pawns in their game. The Defenders of Eden have protected earth from demonic forces since the reign of King Solomon, but today evil's forces have outnumbered those of good. As the cults gain more power the demons do as well. But it was prophesied a man would be born to help turn back the tide, but is thirty-something Victor Locke that man? Let's hope so. Based on the independent comic book series "Epitaph", published by Night Phoenix Press, this movie would serve as the issue #0 for the series.
The Impact
What does the Epitaph movie mean for
the geek community at large? Fun, action and excitement. Seriously, we only want to make a fun low budget movie based on the comic book. If things go well we can keep turning out movies and comics on a major level offering a little more than the standard superhero fare at Marvel and DC. The mix of action, superhero, supernatural, mythology, sci-fi and fantasy will push all your geek buttons whether you're into comics, martial arts action or are just a basic sci-fi/fantasy junkie. This is the feeling we want to bring to the film. If we can get people to back this, then we can push it as far as it will go with your help.
What We Need & What You Get
Honestly, we simply need to keep the ship going, so we'll need the basics props, harddrives, food and locations. We wanted to go for $10,000, but I said we can get $5,000 we would be ready to really knock this thing out of the park then we can build on that, but we're going to try to hit a home run with this pro. We have About one fourth of the film done and we want to finish by the end of this year or first quarter of next for a 2012 release. We will also be paying for advertising and marketing.
