Thank you for checking out my project. There is a good chance that if you are reading this you already know who I am but for those of you who don't, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a singer, songwriter and story teller who has been traveling the country and world playing Irish and American folk music for over 40 years. I also travel the country putting on children's educational performances for schools and libraries. I am at my happiest when I am working with the kids ~They are the future!

The Music and the Mission!
I have waited a long time for the opportunity to record a new children’s album. For the past few months I have had the opportunity to perform a number of children’s shows and working with the children has strengthened my goal of producing this new CD. I have been hard at work putting together an exciting collection of songs for the CD, entitled, “Every Child’s A Star”.
Each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. We all need to help children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals, assisting them in discovering who they are so they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas and giving them the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge. What a world it would be where all children learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between us, as the core of what makes life so wonderful.
Never doubt the power of any tiny voice that will spark a flame to rekindle the fire on Earth again. The fire of hope, peace, equality and truth
The Plan and You!
As an independent artist for the past 40 years touring for a living across the country without a record label behind you makes raising the funds for a new CD project quite a difficult process. Indiegogo is the perfect way for artists of all types to speed that process up with the help from a community of supporters of the arts. It is a concept of creating projects where fans aid in raising the funds to make ideas become realities.
To make a project that will move me forward in my goals, a project that has integrity and purpose, I will need to raise a minimum of $15,000 to get the album started - In total, the album will cost around $21,000 to produce. Recording an album goes far beyond the cost of studio time. There are many factors and costs involved including:
- Artwork
- Musicians
- Duplication
- Mixing and Mastering
- Publicity/Press
Making music is extremely espensive! If by chance I raise more than my goal, the extra money will go toward promotions, radio - all the things that go into making an independent record release a success!

How it Works:
I set the goal, in this case, $15,000. Then you can be a part of the success of my project by making any amount pledge that you like! In return for your contribution, you will receive one of the special rewards that I have put together expecially for this project. Every Pledge Helps!
There is a variety of items including an advanced autographed copy of the CD, a specially designed t-shirt, a personal concert, or your name in the cd credits - all depending on what level you give at. (the rewards are listed to your right) I have put a lot of thought into the process of deciding which rewards would best represent me and be interesting to the people who have always supported me.
