A Bit about our Show:
FIX IT IN FIVE with LYNETTE LOUISE aka THE BRAIN BROAD is an idea hatched out of Lynette's desire to share her tools of change with volume! Lynette Louise is eagerly invited into homes around the world where she teaches important attitudinal shifts and brain science to families struggling with brain disorders. Hundreds of children, parents, aunts and grandpa's have benefited from her passion and neurofeedback equipment. According to Lynette, "That's not enough!"
By offering her services as a reality show Lynette will be able to give families willing to be on camera a free five day life changing therapy marathon. At the same time audiences will be gifted with answers, entertainment and an exampling of living life with creativity and intention. Lynette Louise is in touch with her silly side which is useful for teaching kids. She is also in touch with her dorky side which has an unmatched passion for the brain, and it's disorders. Whether it's depression, dyslexia, ADD, OCD, autism, Parkinson's etc., she has an analogy and answer that will make change easier, and even a little bit fun!
During the filming of the pilot episode, Lynette got a good head-butt from an autistic teen she was working with and lost a tooth. With this event (which brings blood and action to our series!) there was a huge learning for both mom and son. Lynette explains, "You can't walk gingerly. You have to say I'm going to love you with gusto and we are going to get to the end of this." Audiences will love FIX IT IN FIVE with gusto.
A Bit about our Creator and Host:
Lynette Louise raised eight children – four of them were on the spectrum of autism. She was able to guide all but one out of autism and into independence. Lynette travels internationally, enhancing lives by improving brain function. She is hands-on as she travels and works with brain disordered children and adults. As Lynette travels around the world she also performs and speaks on the subject of autism and the efficacy of neurofeedback (biofeedback for the brain). Doubly board certified with an MS, and studying for her PhD at UNM's College of Clinical Psychophysiology, she is the author of the inspirational and honest new book MIRACLES ARE MADE: A Real Life Guide to Autism and host of the WebTalk.net radio show A NEW SPIN ON AUTISM: ANSWERS! Her one woman musical comedy show CRAZY TO SANE raises awareness --and laughter --around the world. Much more than just a globally respected play therapist and brain expert, Lynette is a passionate force for change in the world!
A Bit about where your money will go:
As explained in the video, Lynette loves offering her knowledge and playful brainy answers to families for free, as long as it means that many, many others will have the opportunity to learn as well! Camera equipment, film crew, editing etc., all cost money. Also, the global nature of the show means that there will be travel. The second episode was shot in Uganda. Eating grasshoppers was fun and affordable, but getting there wasn't! Your money will pay for all of this, as well as--hopefully!--neurofeedback equipment for the families that are willingly exposing themselves to the world for an opportunity to benefit for life from this amazing and all natural therapy!

A Bit about the change we can make globally:
Lynette Louise already travels the world helping families by teaching techniques like 'cure by compliment' and 'be surprising' using play. She also outfits families with neurofeedback: a therapy that uses the technology of computers, brain wave amplifiers and EEG knowledge to capitalize on neuroplasticity with amazing results. This show makes us privy to that process where science meets fun and play; changing brains. Lynette's passion for teaching the beauty of difference, while guiding entire families toward comfort and change is infectious. She has already helped hundreds of children and their parents step into the role of expert and see possibilities where before there were none. She has also helped them change those possibilities into realities. Her clients begged her to write a book, and so she did. MIRACLES ARE MADE: A Real Life Guide to Autism sits highlighted and coffee stained lovingly on many nightstands. But for so many, especially in homes with brain disorders, a book just isn't enough information and besides 'They need to see it to understand it!'. And so the idea of travelling the world and doing what she does best, but this time inviting camera people lugging film gear to join thereby delivering the actionable answers into homes via an internet reality show, was hatched!
The opportunity to see Lynette model her teachings while watching other families living with similar challenges but different cultures from all the far reaching corners of the world, being a part of that families inspiring story as it blooms... now that's a gift!
A Bit about you and what you can do:
Due to a desire to share truths and brain science without an agenda, Lynette has always funded her performance and internet autism/ brain function related projects herself--avoiding grants and financial assistance from organizations and networks. Lynette sees this type of work as her calling and making it available to all being her 'give back' to the world. What is she giving back for? For the gratitude she feels in her own families healing. Thankfully the internet creates a distribution channel, networking possibilities and fundraising opportunities allowing her to keep her teachings true to life. That is where you come in. We are thrilled to give you an opportunity to participate both financially and/or in a more hands on way.
There are many things you can do! If you know a family struggling with autism or its associated brain disorders, share Lynette's website with them and suggest they contact her for a chance to be one of the five families in the series! (She still needs three more) Even if they're not comfortable with the idea of inviting cameras into their homes the information they will find at brainbody.net could change their lives! If you are a camera man, editor or sound technician, feel free to contact Lynette and offer your services! Not only will you get more experience under your belt while working on a surprisingly beautiful project, you will also have a good time. Lynette insists on it! For a project as fun and far reaching as Fix it in Five there are so many hopes and possibilities! We would absolutely love an animator, graphic artist, marketing help, cameras, hotels, air miles, food... etc. Money can buy all of this, but be creative and feel free to reach out with suggestions and connections.
