Fractured Realms is a 3D Free To Play MMORPG with a focus on crafting, and economics.

Inspired by the likes of Ultima Online, Eve Online, and World of Warcraft Fractured Realms will bring back elements of true MMORPG Gaming. We aim to bring back things which many of us have been missing for years such as Player Owned Housing, Player Owned Land, Player Owned Shops, Real PvP, PvE, Rares Dealing, Sand Box Style Skill Variety and much more.

Though Free To Play, Fractured Realms will be financially supported by means of a Land Ownership where players will be able to purchase Land for a price of $50 per each Parcel (No Limit As Of Yet), and upgrade packages and items from our site. These parcels of land will be used by players to build their houses, stores, or whatever they want to build which they will decorate with items they craft themselves. If a player ever decides to leave Fractured Realms, they will be able to sell their Estates (LAND) through our Land Auction Service (LAS) of which we will take 10% of the final sale to transfer ownership rights to another player.

What is Fractured Realms?

Fractured Realms is a crafting focused, free to play MMORPG where every item in the world is crafted by a player. Monsters won’t drop swords, gold pieces or armor, but when harvested after a kill, they will drop materials used in crafting items, weapons, armor and the like.

Can I purchase more than one parcel of land to build a bigger house?

Absolutely, you can purchase as much land as you can afford to buy. (No Limit)

Can I decorate my house any way I like?

Of course! If you can craft it, you can place it in your house..

What’s to stop people who aren’t even interested in playing Fractured Realms from buying parcels of land just to flip them later?

Nothing. We expect it to happen as land will be in limited supply and highly sought after, especially after launch. However, it will balance out eventually once the land speculation and wind down.

Will there be upkeep costs on my house?

No upkeep costs are planned for Fractured Realms be it real money or game currency. We are expecting our commission on Land Auctions and package and item sales should keep us funded enough for future development. The purchase of vacant parcels are just paying for the development of the game and the reselling of Land is what will be helping with future additions.

What do NPC's do in Fractured Realms?

NPC’s will begin to be placed in player villages and cities as they are built. Some will tell you stories others will give you quest that lead you to possible rare materials and adventure.

Does the game begin with any buildings?

A Few. Day one launch there will be a few buildings. As towns, cities begin to take shape, it will be because you, the players built them so build, build, build.

Will there be PVP?

Yes, there will be zones that are completely open for PVP though only in such zones will people be free to attack other players. These zones however will also be rich with rare mobs and materials, so we expect competition in these areas to be quite heavy. The other way to PvP is to enable your PvP flag, then and only then you can PvP any other player that is PvP flagged anywhere in the Fractured Realms word.

What if I own land that animals, monsters or harvest-able plant life spawn on?

You have two options. Either one, you can charge a fee for people to be able to access your land and what’s on it or you can keep it all to yourself ie make a fence.

What happens if the world gets full of players houses?

We have no limit on what you can build on the land, but we will have areas that you can not build on. If we need more land we will make more land, we have plans to be one of the largest MMORPG's of all time, land will not be an issue.

Will there be levels? Skills?

There will be levels in Fractured Realms, but there will also be skills, lots of skills. We will be adding skills like Eve Online. There will be caps on skills but once maxed out, you will be able to de-level skills you no longer need while leveling new ones that you do!

What kind of Chat System will Fractured Realms have?

We feel strongly that MMORPG games of today have Way to much chat in them...lol Each area that needs a chat will have one, When you enter an auction house, you will see an auction chat, and any other chat you will have to be in range of the person you want to chat with. As in real life this is an RPG there will be no PM, you will have to be within range.

So, is Fractured Realms like any other game?
