Fripito will be the best travel app for your smartphone or tablet and will help you find interesting places in many destinations including tips on how to prepare and organize the trip of your dreams, what to pack with you, how to find a place to stay and how to get there. On top of that Fripito will help you to take the perfect picture to go with your beautiful memories, regardless of the camera you use.

How will Fripito work?
Fripito will be a virtual travel photo guide app, an entire bookstore worth of information right in your pocket. In it you will find many travel guides all around the world recommended by avid and experienced travelers and photographers. All guides will be focused to discover beautiful landscapes and interesting places including many practical tips. Each guide will be build on amazing photos with tips on where to go for the unique atmosphere, best light and the best views, but also on how to set-up your camera, what lens or accessories to use.
Fripito application will be available for iPhone and iPad in AppStore late the spring 2014 and for Android smartphones in Google Play few months later. The application will be FREE to download and the price of photo guides will range from $ 3 up to $ 15.
Each guide will bring you:
- 100+ professional photos of unique places including exact location, photo setting and tips
- tips how to get there, what is the best season, recommended photo equipment etc.
- interactive map of location
- online mode for actual information and offline services for comfort traveling

How was the idea born?
“For many years now, I have been organizing for my clients interested in traveling and photography inspiring and original expeditions focused on discovering exotic countries through the viewfinders of their cameras. Together, we have visited six continents and places as diverse as the major US national parks, South Africa, Iceland, Peru, New Zealand or China. From every trip, I bring not only amazing memories, but also beautiful photographs. I love sharing my experience, but I cannot possibly take everyone with me on an expedition. And I got an IDEA! I decided to create an app to share all those beautiful places I have visited on this planet along with tips on how to photograph them. I named the app Fripito,” said Jan, professional photographer and founder of Fripito.

How will we use the funds?
The funds we raise with your help will be used for strengthening our team of travelers and photographers working on the travel and photo guides (30 %), translating the guides into other languages (50 %) and for promoting the project to create a sufficiently large community of users (20 %).

Why Indiegogo campaign and why donating is a great idea?
Fripito is an original idea and we have spent the last three months living and breathing only for this project. The app is now undergoing the finishing touches and we have over a dozen guides ready including Iceland, Namibian safari, Yosemite or Peru. We have reached out and got on board dozens of like-minded travelers and photographers, Fripito enthusiasts who will help expand the guide selection, but in order to ensure new guides are added regularly we need to hire more travelers and photographers and translators. This is what we will use the majority of the raised funds for. A small portion of the funding will be used for promoting the app to the target group. In addition to funding you can also promote the app by spreading the word to your friends on Facebook or Twitter. Let’s all enjoy traveling and take great photographs and help preserve the great memories of all the amazing places around the world.
