Music is my medicine
Hello. I am Lauren. I am a musician and a somatic counselor. I am committed to EMPOWERING people to engage with life and LOVE fully. That's what music brings me. And that is what I want to offer to YOU!
I work with at risk teens and in a women's shelter in Sonoma County, CA. Through yoga, mindfulness, breath and movement I bring my heart's attention into places where many feel small and forgotten. I have witnessed powerful transformation and lightness in these places of endarkenment.
You can view more about my work at www.breathingwithyou.com.
The songs I have written are not separate from my work. In fact, my capacity to serve the underserved is directly rooted in the medicine of this music. I am ready to record and release the album, FULL OF FAITH into your hands. May it fly into your own heart with ease and style.
Calling all Angels.....
I am calling upon my family and friends to SUPPORT me in completing this project. I have 2 months to raise $3933. These funds will be put towards recording, mixing, mastering, and printing the album.
If this project exceeds its goal, it will open the door to many more avenues for performing live shows and for helping me create an even better sounding, higher quality album. For example, purchasing or renting new microphones or other musical equipment, hiring other musicians to collaborate on the music, creating promotional materials...
FAITH has many hands
I have got a great team lined up to co-create this project including Jeff Martin at Studio E in Sebastopol, CA (recording and mastering), Julien Lavigne (graphics), and YOU on funding. Full of Faith will be recorded with the highest quality of integrity and equipment to create a living room concert experience for your listening heart.
I am dedicated to the small magnificence of life and to sharing this music with Each of you. Got some pocket change? a buck? five? Every little bit makes a difference. Thin wallet? no problem! You can help birth this album by telling a friend.
13 thank yous for your support.
Love in all directions,
Lauren
