But
my goal is to develop game with fantasy environments that looks a bit
like movie sets and characters that have magical abilities, but the
gameplay and the idea are still quite far away from each other. The
player must use logic in several places, but there are going to be some
scenes where having a bit of a player's skill would be beneficial to
defend himself.

Well, my
name is Balazs Szatmari. I've been learning as a developer for 2 years. I
am learning C#, so I develop the video-game in C# too. I have never
created a video-game before and I’ve been working on this project only
for a month. I have always been interested in how a video game is
developed, and I’ve always admired the 3D engines for their amazing
visual so I started learning how to program them 4 months ago. The
learning proved a bit difficult at first, but I soon caught the hang of
it, and here is the basic version of the game.

You
can play with three main characters: as a goblin, as a human child or
as an elf in a world of fantasy and magic. At the beginning of the game,
you get to a medieval village as a child. But how did he get there?
What happened there? Why is he there? The evil is back from the future,
and he was assented to the rule of the world by disrupting the peace and
tranquillity. He is looking for something. But this is just the
beginning, the rest is up to you to discover.

There
will be exploration, running and jumping, construction of bridges and
stairs, flying and crawling, reading journals, finding keys, sneaking
under cameras, discovering secrets, passing through laser grids and
fighting melee and ranged enemies.
This video-game will be a mixture of "action, adventure and logic with a hint of RPG".

This
way I could pay for people, who have recently offered their help with
the project. I would be able to hire them full time. And I can't do that
on my savings alone.
Because, as you can hear, Elod did a
wonderful job on the music for the alpha gameplay, Donat created a
charming fantasy world and Tamas prepared a perfect concepts and a
wonderful cover to the video-game and I know that they could do a grand
job on the game. And I don't think they should work for free.
Because I have to buy upgrades for several expensive professional programs/licenses so that they’ll be up to today's standards.
And my computer is too old and it's definitely not optimized for video-games.

I'm
open to suggestions and ideas! And even though I do have a pretty
precise picture of what I would like the game to be, I always welcome
helpful advices or opinions.

The game will be available in 2014 Q3 (September). But with DLCs and updates the game will be always growing and getting fixed.
Closed CO-OP Beta should available in November 2013 at the latest.
The
game will be published for Windows PC, Linux, Mac OSX, IOS and Android
could be a possibility, since Unity in theory supports them all. But I
honestly don't have experience with any of those. So I would either have
to buy computers to run these operating systems, or outsource for a
studio to do the conversion.

Each
"perk" gets the game closer to the final version. With certain "perks"
the donors receive an email to their email address with a downloadable
alpha or beta. If you donate $3 or more, your beta license key will be
upgraded when the game development will be finished and you will get the full game as a gift!

By
now you probably have already decided whether you'd like to help this
project and if you want to get an early alpha or not. So all I can add
is that I'll do my best to try and answer any questions arising.
Thank you for reading this!
Regards,
Balazs
