Another Leap for Mankind
Sending Man to Mars
Humanity has reached the point where we as a species must make a conscious decision to either remain on earth and be vulnerable to the dangers of the cosmos or spread out beyond our solar system and insure our survival. The citizens of our planet have to make the choice to survive the perils of the universe without the aid of our terrestrial governments. Crowdsourcing is the only option for this type of mission.
For fifty million (50,000,000) dollars our group, Charles2Mars ("C2M") will gather a group of engineers, physicists, physicians, and publicists to draw up plans and public support to send me, Charles Earl Brown, to the planet Mars. In order to cut the costs of this mission, my trip will be one way. I will also train my body through starvation and sensory deprivation in order to prep for my lonely journey.
We already have a small team of volunteers working on the logistics of this massive undertaking. C2M consists at this point of an economic advisor (Nick Adkins), an engineer (Dillon Ingram), and a publicist (Tyler Mcgee). The preparation of this project will be meticulously documented by our volunteer filmmaker, L.L. Gaddy.
This mission will not be without its dangers but in the words of Carl Sagan "The sky calls to us. If we do not destroy ourselves, we will one day venture to the stars." We must make the first steps into space by sending me, Charles Earl Brown, to Mars.
"If you were to plot them on a graph, the line for 'one planet species' and the line for 'extinct species,' over a long enough time, would become indistinguishable. We must therefor consider that the task to spread human life to Mars is the single most important endeavor in human history - if only because it is the only certain way in which we may insure the continuation of human history. Charles Earl Brown may well be the single most important man of all time" ~D.T. Ingram, Chief Project Engineer
