Somos Burbuja Films, una productora
audiovisual afincada en Cantabria. Llevamos trabajando desde hace
ocho años realizando publicidad, registro audiovisual, reportajes,
corporativos, videoclips, cortometrajes y documentales, algunos de
ellos premiados en festivales nacionales e internacionales.
Desde la fundación de nuestra
productora uno de los objetivos principales de la empresa siempre fue
el dar el salto al largometraje, y en un par de ocasiones hemos
estado a punto de conseguirlo, aunque finalmente no se alcanzó la
financiación suficiente para ninguno de los dos filmes. Ahora lo
intentamos de nuevo con un proyecto más sencillo y abarcable con los
medios a nuestro alcance pero para el que necesitamos vuestra
colaboración. De ahí recurrir al crowfunding ofreciéndoos a cambio
unas interesantes, diversas y atractivas compensaciones por vuestro
apoyo.

We are a Spanish production company - Burbuja Films. We are located in a beautiful region of Cantabria and have been making documentaries, short films, music videos, advertising films, workshops and corporate films for eight years.
A couple of
years ago we decided to think of a new story to make a leap to
feature films, one of our goals since we founded Burbuja Films
production company. After two unsuccessful attempts to raise enough
funding to undertake the production, we decided to approach the issue
differently. We realised that we want to give something interesting and diverse in return for
the support and so the idea to use crowdfunding was born.

Licenciado en Historia por la Universidad de Cantabria y Diplomado en Montaje por la Escuela de Cine y del Audiovisual de Madrid (ECAM). Es uno de los jóvenes realizadores cántabros más prometedores del momento. Realizador de reportajes, videoclips y diferentes audiovisuales, sus créditos incluyen la dirección de los multipremiados cortometrajes Banda Sonora Original (2005), Connecting People (2008), Crisis: el preludio (2009), La Lista (2011) o los documentales Cuando yo me haya ido (2006) y Donde aprendiste a vivir (2008).

Álvaro de la Hoz holds a degree in History from the University of Cantabria and Diploma in Film Editing by the School of Cinema and Audiovisual Madrid (ECAM). He has directed documentaries, music videos and various audiovisual works and is a founding partner of a Burbuja Films production company. Some of his works include award winning short films: Banda Sonora Original (2005), Connecting People (2008), Crisis: el preludio (2009) and documentaries such as Cuando yo me haya ido (2006), Donde aprendiste a vivir (2008) and Gentes de la Mar (2011).

Laura es licenciada en Periodismo, fotógrafa y operadora de cámara. Desde 2006 colabora activamente con Burbuja Films en diferentes producciones. Ha formado parte del departamento de producción de varios proyectos de esta productora, como fue el caso del corto “Eslogan”. Es la directora de producción de “Hazlo por mí”.

Pedro Pablo Picazo - Guionista / Scriptwriter

We are a small production company with big ideas and a lot of potential, but we do not have enough financial resources to cover all the costs of filming. Qué necesitamos y qué puedes obtener a cambio / What we need and what you get in return
Para poder concluir el rodaje y terminar la película necesitamos tan sólo 4000 euros.
Necesitamos el dinero para:
- Pagar a los actores y al equipo técnico. Contamos con actores y técnicos profesionales que, aunque han reducido sus salarios al mínimo para apoyar el proyecto, deben ser remunerados por su trabajo.

Cubrir los gastos de desplazamiento y estancia, ya que el rodaje se desarrolla en un pueblo de Cantabria.
- Pagar el alquiler de equipo.
Esperamos conseguir nuestro objetivo, pero si no fuera posible lograrlo en esta campaña, os aseguramos que más adelante conseguiríamos terminar la película y poder haceros llegar vuestras compensaciones.
Para convenceros a colaborar con el proyecto hemos pensado una serie de “recompensas” que os animen a participar. Hemos intentado hacerlas atractivas y especiales y esperamos que podáis encontrar una que consideréis que se ajuste más a vuestros intereses.
Tenemos que aclarar que en el caso de que elijáis alguna opción que implique viajar a Santander no podemos costear desplazamientos o estancia si venís de fuera de esta ciudad. Sí que cubre desplazamientos desde Santander hasta el lugar de grabación.

In order to conclude the shooting and finish the film we need only 4000 euros.
We need the money for:

Pay the actors and crew. We have professional actors and technicians, who should be paid for their work, but had to reduce the minimum wage to afford to project.

Covering travel and accommodation expenses and the filming takes place in a Cantabrian village.

Paying for renting the equipment.
We hope to achieve our goal, but we understand that it cannot always be done and if we do not reach the 4000 euros, we will cut on the shooting days but will make sure that we finish the movie and you get your rewards.

We need to clarify that in case of you choosing an option that involves travel to Santander, we cannot afford to pay your travel or accommodation costs. However, we will cover costs from Santander to the shooting location.

¿Cómo surge este proyecto? / How have we come up with an idea for this project?
Desde el nacimiento de Burbuja Films tenemos fuertes vínculos con nuestra tierra y queremos compartir y dar a conocer su belleza y singularidad con el resto del mundo. Con nuestros rodajes anteriores hemos podido descubrir maravillosos escenarios naturales como, por ejemplo, las villas pasiegas. De hecho “Hazlo por mí” fue inspirado por nuestra experiencia con los pasiegos, los habitantes de estos valles, gente que vive en las montañas dedicados a la ganadería.
Con esta película esperamos mostrar con una nueva visión de Cantabria, más moderna y actual, sin renunciar a nuestras raíces tradicionales. Una historia pequeña pero universal que conecte y llegue a audiencias de todo el mundo.

Burbuja Films has a very strong connection to Cantabrian region and we want to share its beauty and uniqueness with the rest of world. We discovered many breathtaking landscapes while filming
some of our documentaries. For example the Pas Valley, which has
stayed in our minds long after we were done filming there. In fact, the film was inspired by pasiegos, inhabitants of the villas Pasiegas, who live in the mountains and grow cattle.
With this film we hope to show a new version of Cantabria, more modern and contemporary, without compromising our traditional roots. A small but universal story that connects and reaches audiences around the world.
