Short Summary
Hi! Here we have a collective of Consious Community Members, artists and healers, joining together and taking residence in the Historical Sheppard House to launch a collaborative space for healing modality practices, an arts studio, fundraising events, and community living! And now with your help we will have all the support we need to create abundance for all!
Amoung the dedicated and inspired group we have Performing Artist Just Joe Clarke, who will be sharing his flair for body painting and abstract art in the in-home communal ART STUDIO along with other resident artists and Photographer collaborating and calling all fellow artists to come and play!
We have Jessica Venne, RMT, bringing her unique California-Integrative Massage style to the beautiful in-home healing space, shared by Jana Lang, Accupressurist, also offering Lomi Lomi and reiki to the community walking through the doors!
Also connected to our arts studio is a warm and playful music room where we invite you to join us with your drums, your guitars, your flutes, a sound board awaits your finger tips and let the walls of the house vibrate in joy of the beautiful collaborative music and art we create!
June 1st 2013 our group of inspired artists, musicians and body workers are moving into this 101 year old Historical Landmark home!
Living in this home We now have the opportunity to preserve it in its historical character, and also utilize its grandure for creating a sacred healing, spiritual, and creative place for all people to visit and celebrate life together in harmony! A place to share our inspiration & gifts through workshops & fundraising events, and a place to live and expand as a community, to gather, be the change and healing earth practices!
What We Need & What You Get
We have found ourselves in the most magical of times! The current owner of this amazing home has had a dream! And his dream has always been to place the home in the hands of community and see the home be utilized for all it could be! To create this opportunity Joe and Jessica pitched their vision, and what they have been doing over the past 2 years, expanding through their passion to share and give back to the community through combining art and healing, and the owner received this vision with great appreciation and acceptance! An agreement was struck and our dream for within this home is now our reality!
Though, for the support and abundance of the current owner who has generously offered his trust and belief in this dream, we find importance to take this opportunity to reach out to the community we propose to support within these walls, and pass on financial support for his journey carrying him out of the home and leaving it in our capable hands!! As a team of artists we still need all the financial support we can get from our community out there, to help us develope a strong foundation to beging with and for the owner who has been so generous and following his heart is offering us all the support he possibly can to help us make this all a dream come true!
We would like to raise $10,000 for security of our dear house owner so that he may run into the next phase for his life with security and profit for his home! Also another $5,000 -$10,000 to be able to secure bank & lawyer fees, moving costs, any equiptment or items we must purchase to create a solid & developed art studio and healing modality studio for all to share and prosper in together, and any emergencies that may arrise!
