Bombay Rickey is recording our first album!

Bombay Rickey is a five-piece band from Brooklyn that writes original music straddling the boundaries of surf, cumbia, spaghetti-Western, and Bollywood, balanced out with a little coloratura soprano. The members of Bombay Rickey are all established musicians in NY, having played with John Zorn, Anthony Braxton, Chicha Libre, Alarm Will Sound, and others. We've been playing as a band for a couple of years, and, after getting hundreds of requests, are finally ready to make a record!

A donation to our campaign gets you a copy of the finished album!

We're really excited to head into the studio, and you can help by pre-ordering your copy of the album. With the money we raise, we'll be able to get:

Four days of time in a cutting edge recording studio.
Mixing time for the recorded tracks.
Mastering for the entire album.
Album art.
Duplication of the cds.
