Who We Are
First to Market is a soon-to-be new, full-service restaurant that is aiming to bring our upscale take on the best American regional comfort food to Downtown San Jose. We are Managers Jenn Lin and Joe Gradillas, and Chef Domingo Wolbert. Jenn and Joe were raised in San Jose, and upon travels to the rest of the country, came to the realization that San Jose is lacking in American regional foods. We're determined to bring awareness of what makes American food great to the south bay.
Why the Campaign?
This restaurant is a labor of love for us. We are finally opening the restaurant we've always dreamed of, making the food we're always wanted to see in our hometown. As with every restaurant opening, money is tight. Every donation gives us a little more of a monetary cushion as we go into the rough first months of the restaurant. Donate to our campaign, and you will receive our appreciation, as well as tickets to our soft opening party, or gift cards.
The Impact
The downtown San Jose area is in the process of becoming a destination. The success of every restaurant and facility downtown will elevate the area more and more. Our menu will contain foods that south bay natives have likely never heard of. We're taking the American food we've grown up on, and elevating it by applying perfect technique. We've always wanted to open everyone's eyes to how wonderful American cuisine really is, and we are now fortunate enough to have the means to do so.
