Not only will this studio benefit me, there are other local businesses, people teaching drama and yoga etc that can use the studio when I'm not using it. A community space..


I run cheekyhandmades. I am passionate about sewing, fabric, sewing machines, knitting, teaching, tea, cats and music. I love my job. There's nothing better than empowering people to make things, clothes that fit their bodies and blankets for their friends. I have looked into renting a studio space but have not found anything that ticks my boxes. I think building one will tick all of them. And then some. I will be able to teach more people and be more flexible in my teaching, no longer constrained by space. You can really help make a difference. 

Contributors fund ideas they can be passionate about and to people they trust. Here are some things to do in this section:

I understand not everybody can give money. But you can help spread the word and reach people that can give. Spread it on twitter, Facebook, Instagram, on paper and over coffee. Don't forget I will throw a huge party when it's built! 

Walthamstow needs this space. It's going to be great for all of us.
