We are the upcoming Coywolf Association.  We are based in southern Ontario and we work for wolves, coyotes, and corvids (crows and ravens) nationwide and all across North America. 

UPDATE: THANK YOU to our supporters in the MNR and the OSPCA, and to the vet tech who offered to work with us!  Thank you to everyone who donates or shares!

Everything we do is transparent.  Our responses, our actions, everything will be transparent.  You will know what we're doing and what our thoughts are.

Do you dislike rampant and ignorant killing of wolves and coyotes across the United States and Canada?  That's what we're here for: to counter ignorance every step of the way.  Wolves are beautiful.  Coyotes are beautiful.  Crows and ravens are beautiful.  We want to advocate for wolves, coyotes, coywolves, and corvids (i.e. crows and ravens), both in Ontario and in the eastern United States, and across North America.  We need to form a network to counter the cruel trapping & hunting interests that currently govern wildlife "management" in North America.  We want to establish our presence both verbally (i.e. a website, a newsletter, photos, etc.) and physically (i.e. a rehab & permanent sanctuary for coyotes, wolves, and wolf-dogs, along with a big outdoors flight cage for crows and ravens!).  We have our own ambassador coyote already!  We're looking for a pair of ambassador wolves, and later on, crows! 

These animals are all strongly correlated in Native American mythology.  Coyote specifically is associated with speaking to & connecting with all of the living animals on earth, which is why we like him.  Wolf and Raven, similarly, create and connect with all of earth.  We, and our ambassador animals, love and feel responsible for the welfare of *all* wild animals on our territory!  We are interested in involving the local Six Nations Aboriginal groups and letting them speak on their behalf.

Stake a place for yourself on the right side of history.  Because we advocate for a rarely heard-of and mysterious but VERY common species, we are also advocating for red wolves and Mexican wolves, hoping that we can do some good before those species are also wiped out.  We are interested in networking with any pro-wolf and pro-coyote groups in existence!  The strength of the individual is the pack, and the strength of the pack is the individual.  If you help us, you might be an historical contributor of 90% of the requirements of the neonate Coywolf Association.  This means not only would you get access to our newsletter and a mention our website, but you would also get insider access to our findings (on the website) and free access to upcoming promotional campaigns; you're also welcome to add your voice to what we should focus on.

What We Need & What You Get

We are asking for $1000 to cover legal fees and government fees to federally incorporate The Coywolf Association.

We will also publish our website soon, start building our wonderful rehab library of educational material on our native wildlife, and set up a physical presence to rehabilitate animals and house educational animals.  Volunteers will be invited to join us, and it is possible that visitors will be welcome.

If you donate $30 or more, you get a year of free subscription to The Songdog Newsletter (bimonthly), which covers news about coywolves, coyotes, and corvids in eastern Canada & the eastern U.S. for one month at a time.

If you donate $50 or more, you are eligible for a free mention on our upcoming upcoming website, The Coywolf Association, and you will have a prominent place on our front page along with any charity or nonprofit you wish to support, including a direct page to their link, for at least six months, up to twelve months!  You may donate in the name of your favourite charity or in your own name.

The Impact

Do people know what coywolves are?  They are the survivors of a cruel campaign designed to eliminate both wolves and coyotes from North America in generations past.  Being the survivors they are, coyotes migrated eastward and mated with grey wolves to create a beautiful, intelligent, powerful, and formidable canine animal like none ever seen before!  The gene pool of even rare wolves such as red wolves resides in coyotes, and we need to protect both populations in order to protect both animals!

Very few people have the true facts about coywolves, despite how common they are becoming, and we wish to not only build our small sanctuary, but also to advocate for coywolves, wolves (in any continent) and coyotes (all across North America) in the forms of physical advocacy, physical information sessions to government and police, networking with environmental groups, and Coyote Lessons aimed at urban people who want to re-connect with the wild and learn how to survive intelligently in our cruel capitalist society.  Physical encounters with tame, friendly coyotes and/or wolfdogs and/or ambassador wolves is a definite possibility!  If you're an educator or a group coordinator, please get in contact.
