Hi , I am Sietse
I live in Amsterdam. Since 1998 I have been making experimental electronic music with the name Orphax. For years I have been releasing music as free download releases and as CD-R releases in small runs (in the picture above you can see some of those releases, together with my two cats Merzbow and Francisco who were a bit like what are you doing now with those things on us...)
Making music has always been fun for me and I love to get it out, but with my newest album "De tragedie van een liedjesschrijver zonder woorden" (this can be translated as "The tragedy of a songwriter without words") I want to make a bigger step towards a real CD.
De Tragedie van een liedjesschrijver zonder woorden.
De Tragedie van een Liedjesschrijver Zonder Woorden is an album with some very personal pieces of music written over an extended period of time in which some major things changed in my life. It is an album about love, stress (due to finishing a Masters study in geology), struggling with sickness and eventually finding peace of mind.
Some points have gone, but others are still valid.

Moving Furniture Records
Besides making music myself I also run a small label called Moving Furniture Records. Though due to circumstances the label has been on hold for a while, now slowly getting back on its track. I want to use the label to release this album, giving it a good home and helping the label get a proper restart.
Release goal.
My idea at this moment is to get the release out by the end of September or begin October. To make this happen I still need €1100. This price includes the whole production process of pressing 300 CD's that while come in a lovely EKO pack style sleeve, the master and promotion work.
When the CD is out I will also be planning on doing a small tour in The Netherlands and Belgium and maybe also visit Germany or the UK, so not only can you listen to the CD when it is there, but also come see me perform live.
If you choose to support me of course you will get something in return. This can be the CD when it comes out, or a special bonus edition with extra highly limited CD-R in specially crafted sleeve. Or you can get me to have the release party in your house, or cafe or shop or wherever you want (in The Netherlands). Or see any of the other options on the bar on the right side.
I hope you like this idea and would like to help me out with getting this CD funded.
