Short Summary

On 3/14/14 Danny Simard aka "Rave-N-Bust Her" skated in the Men's Roller Derby World Cup, skating for Team Ireland.  An accident happened during the Ireland vs. Germany game, winding Danny up in the hospital with a spiral break on both his tibia and fibula. He is now waiting in England for surgery and is restricted to flying back home for 6 weeks. or until the doctor clears him. It is very dangerous to fly over seas with a spiral break. Without being able to work he doesn't have a way to live. I'm trying to raise him enough money to pay for his rent and electric for next month.

It's sad when something happens but that's the risk all of us take every time we lace our skates up. Accidents happen. Those who know Rave-N, know how big his heart is and how much he has given to the derby community.

The Impact

Rave-N  will do his best to try and stay positive through this but I'm not sure how he is going to take being sedentary and away from his friends and home during this healing process. Lets all show Rave N how much we care for him and chip in a little so he can stay stress free, focus on healing and get back home!
