***UPDATES**: 3/22 - A huge THANK YOU to our 9 funders so far. We are on the road to telling this very important story!
What is "Homo Sapien Urbanus" about?
Homo Sapien Urbanus, a feature documentary will explore the challenges facing our cities: rapid urbanization, increasing consumption and chronic poverty. Confronting these challenges facing our cities is in effect, confronting our very survival on this planet.
We must wake up and realize that the choices we make now dramatically affect how humans survive in the future. We are reaching a tipping point on this planet, will we wake up and choose to develop sustainably? Or will we continue on the path to our extinction?
"Sustainability? Why should I care?
Our survival is at stake and we must all do whatever we can to make sure that everybody on this planet has a chance to live up to their potential and have decent future.
The power of film is massive and far reaching, as filmmakers we have the ability to get the message of sustainability to the widest audience.
