Creating our gels, we focused on:

Can a better energy gel really help make a better world? We think so:

• Healthy people are happy people. It frustrates us to see athletes spending hours upon hours exercising to be healthy, only to be forced to compromise with nutrition. Huma gels give people that option to be healthier, which can only make them happier!
• Huma isn't some massive, faceless corporation; it's an Army veteran and a former engineer who decided to quit their jobs and risk it all to bring people a product they believed in. Supporting Huma not only supports entrepreneurship, but jobs for Americans across the country!

Risks & Challenges:

Due to the unique machine requirements of producing a gel packet like ours, our test batch was moderately sized, so we've already worked out a lot of the kinks. That being said, some potential risks are:

• New Manufacturer: due to the closure of our previous manufacturer, we were forced to find a new one. We put out bids, checked safety records, asked for references, and generally put each potential gel producer through the wringer. We are now confident our first full production batch will be at least as good (if not better!) than our current gels.
• New Flavors: we methodically tested each of the new fruit purees to ensure we created the absolute best flavor.
