On December 26th, the home of Cathy and Joe Hunt went up in flames, destroying everything they owned and claiming the lives of four beloved family pets.

We are Christopher and Julie Sharp - Cathy's son, and daughter-in-law - Cathy's home, where she and Joe - Chris's brother - have lived for the past ten years, erupted in flames the evening of December 26th, burning to the ground. The fire, caused by one of the two wood stoves used to heat their home, destroyed everything they owned. While some of those belongings are replaceable, like clothes and everyday essentials, some, like family photos and their companion animals - two dogs and two cats- are lost forever.

While there was insurance for the home, we've started this campaign in an effort to get Cathy and Joe more immediate assistance to obtain housing, food, and the everyday things that people need to get by. The insurance process is long and arduous, and we'd like to ease the strain, even if it's just a little bit. They're both good, hardworking people who don't deserve to go through something like this.

Please help if you can.

Thank you for taking the time to read this,

- Chris, Julie, Cathy & Joe
