About us!

Imagine!'s Out & About offers a wide variety of services for children, including an After School Program, School Closure Days and Summer Camp. We strongly believe in the potential of all and in Imagine!'s guiding philosophy that all individuals, regardless of ability or disability, have talents and strengths that make them vital members of their communities. 

Why we need your help!

Our programs are 100% community-based which means you will see us at bowling alleys, recreation centers, parks and other community venues. We believe that the benefits for our participants are priceless as they learn to integrate into their communities. During all of our activities, we help kids practice life skills including decision making, getting along with others, personal care and self advocacy, just to name a few. It is our hope that the skills we teach and practice during our recreation based activities will be applied to other parts of the participant’s life. For instance, they may start saying, "Hi!" to a peer while at school or may be able to get dressed in the morning without help from their parents.
But as our program grows and more kids with developmental disabilities join us, we find that our budget can't keep pace. We want to be able to continue to offer these valuable and meaningful opportunities for growth (and fun!) to all kids in our community who wish to be involved.

Your donations will go directly to After School Program, School Closure Day and Summer Camp resources like:

• Swimming passes
• Bowling games
• Art supplies
• Sports gear
• Field trips
• Specialized and adapted play equipment

Your donations will go straight towards funding meaningful activities for the kids of Out & About!
