Bandcochon (means You Pig! in kreol)  is the first social network in the world dedicated to fight against illegal wastes dumping. We started it in november 7th, 2011 for preserving our beloved island : La Réunion.

It’s both a participatory social web site to locate the “junk” and an indispensable tool offered to administrations in charge of wastes collecting which benefit of a geo-located database to track down junks on their territories.

Band Cochon is a original creation by 2 anonymous citizens (politicless and not business oriented) based on a web framework at the web technology egde.

In december 2012, Band Cochon had the pleasure to announce its little brother birth in Martinique Arété Sa ! (means Stop It!)

If we appeal to you it’s because we invest on our own savings in bandcochon.re and the first release almost ruin us.

Today, we wish to have enough money to do more and so to give all possible time to develop Band Cochon.

We also wish to allow to emerging countries who may not have the financial means of Western countries a fair use of Band Cochon.

We never wanted to create an association or crying for gourvernemental money because we want to keep our freedom and keep our movement away from politic.
