WHY WE NEED FUNDS TO MAKE SEASON 2 HAPPEN

As you can see, we got off to a pretty good start in Season 1, but in order to make the filming of Season 2 happen we will need your help. This is an ambitious and unique series that will take significant resources to produce. We would love for you to become a part of this journey by supporting our immensely talented group of performers who will be filmed doing very horrific things [just watch: "Apehephobia"!] and our directors who are taking on the challenging work of our diverse group of writers to bring these phobias to life on the screen [check out this interview about the making of Selenophobia!].

We seek your generous support to help with the following:

  • Publicity and expanding outreach to the community
  • Covering the rental of technical equipment and insurance costs
  • Location and transportation expenses
  • Materials to realize ambitious set dressing, wardrobe and lighting techniques
  • Offering live-able stipends for our creative artists that already donate so much of their precious time into getting projects like this off the ground
  • Administrative costs (permitting fees, festival submission fees)

HOW TO MAKE AN IMPACT

We need one FINAL PUSH to make this project happen. Our current goal is to raise $5000 by the time we start our next round of principal photography in spring 2013 on location in New York City in time for a Halloween 2013 release. Please contribute whatever you can! Any amount at all will help us on this journey.

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Just because you may not be able to contribute doesn’t mean you lose your chance to help make this project happen!

  • Please help us get the word out and make some noise about this campaign!
  • Use the Indiegogo share tools to make it super easy.
  • Tell people how much you want to see this show come to New York and pass this onto your fancy friends with deep pockets!

ABOUT SLICK DEVIL ENTERTAINMENT

In 2005, Slick Devil Entertainment was launched and shortly thereafter came its first project, "Unadulterated," starring Tomiko Kempski and Jesse Barton. The film has become an internet sensation, with a total of over one million views on Youtube, Daily Motion, and other websites. Perry has also worked on several other projects in the New York area and added journalist to his resume in 2007 with the launch of the Colonel's Crypt website. Since its launch, Scott Perry has interviewed over 150 top names in the film industry as well as the best up and coming talent with a unique website devoted to the art of genre themed cinema. His next project "Insatiable," stars Mike Lane, Zoë Daelman Chlanda, and Raine Brown, and a crew featuring many of the top independent talent on the East Coast horror scene. "Insatiable" has been met with rave reviews and was featured on Fangoria.com.

Perry has followed up "Insatiable" with "Something Just," the first project from Slick Devil Entertainment to be filmed on 1080p High Definition. The film, which stars indie horror faves Alan Rowe Kelly, Jerry Murdock, and Joseph Zaso, has met with high acclaim in the horror community and won 4 Claw Awards at the 2012 Terror Film Festival including Best Fantasy Short Film and Best Actor for Kelly.

In 2012, Perry expanded Slick Devil Entertainment with several multimedia projects including two music videos, and an experimental online film "Ghosts" with David Marancik and Xiomara Cintron. It was during the filming of "Ghosts" where Perry had a vision of working with several independent filmmakers on a series dealing with the basic elements of horror, our fears. With that launched "In Fear Of" online around the world on Halloween 2012. Two weeks prior, the first episode, "Monophobia: Fear Of Being Alone" starring scream queen legend Debbie Rochon was awarded Best Horror Comedy Short Film at the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival in its world premiere. Recently, "In Fear Of" had the honor of playing the entire first season at the Long Island Macabre Faire Horror Film Festival where it received two standing room only screenings followed by a standing ovation. Slick Devil Entertainment continues to bring a unique blend to the indie film community with its narrative and abstract approach to art. www.slickdevilentertainment.com
