Overview
INSIDE is the second part of Dolly Sen´s Mental Health awareness trilogy. Dolly is a filmmaker and artist with a unique perspective and powerful message about psychosis. With some money already raised we are looking for funding to cover costs to complete the film

INSIDE

  • Dolly is a film director who lives with psychosis. Her films and stories communicate her experience and  help us understand the subjective world of those facing the same issues.
  • We are seeking support from the general public to carry the film to completion because we believe that it is important to increase mental health awareness in order to fight stigma. A personal and dramatic film like INSIDE has the potential to have real impact.
  • Dolly's last film 'OUTSIDE' has been shown at international film festivals, used in mental health campaigns and as a teaching aid for doctors and screened at psychiatric conferences worldwide. It has also had a profoundly positive impact for people with psychosis.
  • With the film 'INSIDE' we hope to extend the reach of this work. Each film in the Trilogy will present a different aspect of Dolly's experience and her perspective of this unique and - to many - foriegn world.

What We Need & What You Get

    • We need between £ 2,500-3,000 with a large portion dedicated to international festival and conference submissions, the rest of the money will be used for postproduciton and to feed and transport the crew.
    • Perks!

    Risks & Challenges

    • A lot of the people that are working in this film are not from London, making it more expensive for them to come to the shoot.
    • It is a challenge to work with people that have experienced or experience mental health problems. As a crew we are all aware of the situation and working with it.
