Hello and welcome to "Inverto" crowd-funding campaign page. "Inverto" is a first person shooter-puzzler with gravity manipulations, platformer elements and parkour phylosophy in mind. If you have not seen a traler video I strongly recommend doing so to get the idea of a gameplay. About Inverto

Main feature of Inverto is of course gravity manipulations. All levels are created around concept of changing gravity to get to the other side, some levels even can be changed with different gravity directions. Gyroscopic switches, force fields, teleports, dangerous laser traps, moving platforms, evil turrets droids, everything good sci-fi game needs, except portal gun and aliens.

If you remember "Prey"(2006), game by Human Head Studios and 3D Realms, you might find similarity, I've enjoyed this game, but gravity manipulations there were more like spare feature, never discovering it's true potential. Inverto is here to fulfill the mission, besides there are not many fps gravity games on a market.
Stretch Goals
It's a flexible funding campaign, so if campaign fails game will be only 9 levels long.
$4000 - game will get 7 extra levels, 16 instead of 9.
$7000 - game gets 24 levels in total and AI(vicious droids and bosses).
$10000 - initial goal, definitely custom maps support, and ingame level editor.
$12000 - Inverto becomes HD! High resolution textures, postprocesses, complex shaders, more detailed models.
$20000 - Multiplayer coop mode, with custom multiplayer maps.

My name is Volodymyr Dotsenko. I'm independent game developer from Ukraine, or more precisely want to earn the honor to be called 'independent game developer' by others. For that I'm developing my first game project, having more then six years of experience working in game industry, so I'm pretty confident in things I'm doing and can complete the task. All I need is your valuable support.
Inverto history
Game concept #1 was born in 2008 just after playing Portal game by Valve. But back then it was more of a Portal clone, and since I didn't have any programming experience, so idea went in hybernation.

In three years when I was getting familiar with Unity, while making architectural presentations on this fantastic engine, idea came back to life as a little phisics experiment. That's when actual Inverto birth have happened.

Since then working on this idea as a part-time hobby-job untill end of last year, when I've decided that it's time to be serious about it. So I've left my job behind and till now I'm working fulltime on Inverto.

Inverto HD version (Unity DirectX 11 contest)
HD version was made for Unity DirectX 11 competition, and contained two playable levels. It can be downloaded from IndieDB : http://www.indiedb.com/games/gravitron/downloads
Note: If stretch goal(see above) will be reached, Inverto might get HD version graphics quality.
Why IndieGoGo?
Working on a game is pure joy, but paying your living is sometimes expensive. I work fulltime on Inverto more then half a year, and my savings are quickly depleting, plus some software licenses and publishing do require a significant financing. But biggest problem is time, working on every single aspect of a game project takes a lot of learning, trials and errors, it takes a lot of time and often comes out not to be so proffesional as expected. That's why I need additional help, hire some specialists (and I think they don't need to work for free). Plus perks should be made and shipped to all of you. I'm expecting to collect lowest money amount possible, but really I do want Inverto to become HD.
When game will be ready?
I'm aiming the end of 2013, but it's always a good point to add extra time just in case. So beginning of 2014 is more realistic, though extra money will speed up development.
What platforms will game support?
Primary platform is Windows. But Linux(Ubuntu) system is in my plans. Mac support is different, I'll have to buy Mac computer to seriously support this platform (that is also why I need money), wish I could find a developer to help me out with this problem.
