iQi Mobile is a Qi standard wireless charging receiver with a uniquely designed lightning connector attached via an ultra-thin flexible ribbon cable. The iQi Mobile powers your iPhone conveniently through the lightning connector, that seamlessly disappears behind your soft iPhone case. This technology enables you to top off your charge on any Qi compatible charging pad, like the Koolpuck charger.

Will iQi Mobile work with my iDevice?

iQi Mobile is designed to work with iPhone 5, 5C, 5S and iPod Touch (5th generation) only.

What is Qi Wireless Charging?

It's the use of a simple coil receiver in the device which interfaces with the charging pad’s coil to transmitter. 

What do I need to Charge my iPhone Wirelessly?

In order to have a complete wireless charging system, you will need both a receiver (iQi Mobile), a transmitter (Koolpuck) and soft case of your iPhone.

Where can I get a Qi charging pad?

Bundle Perks will include iQi Mobile (the receiver) and the Koolpuck charger ( the transmitter). iQi Mobile is compatible with any Qi compatible charging pad, such as our Koolpuck and Koolpad. 

How fast will iQi Mobile charge my phone?

iQi Mobile will charge your iPhone faster than a USB 2 port on Mac or PC (500mA)

Will my iPhone get hot while Charging?

No. iQi Mobile has been throughly tested and charges well below Below 45°C

Is iQi Mobile Apple certified?

When will I get my iQi Mobile perks?

We aim to have First batch of Indiegogo iQi Mobile perks fulfilled in time for Christmas.

The second batch will be in early 2014.

When is the scheduled launch date for retail of the iQi Mobile?

The scheduled launch date for the full retail iQi Mobile is 2014 at the retail price of $35. Orders will be shipped from EU or USA.

What if I want to upgrade my perk?

Just upgrade to the  bundle you want, contribute the difference and send us a private comment.

Is the iQi Mobile compatible with my soft case?

Most soft cases (at least all the hundreds we tested) work with the iQi Mobile effortlessly and leaving unnoticeable bump, the softer the case, the less noticeable.

Is the iQi Mobile compatible with a hard case?

iQi Mobile is not compatible with normal hard cases. The hard plastics will not be able to mold itself around the iQi Mobile like the soft cases will.

Is iQi Mobile compatible with my particular brand of case?

We have not tested all brands of cases but have found the majority of soft cases to work with iQi Mobile seamlessly

Are you doing any variations of the iQi?

Yes, we are bringing out two variations of the iQi Mobile:

iQi Mobile - designed for iPhones and iPod touch

Please note: We have put the iQi Air for iPad on hold to focus on the iQi Mobile for the moment.
