We need your help.
iScot Magazine launched its first indiegogo campaign in the summer of 2014 with the intent to generate sufficient funding to create a sustainable pro Scottish cultural and lifestyle magazine.
We launched at the same time as the innovative and ambitious (crowdfunding success) Driveshaft campaign.
We, on the otherhand, secured only 5% of our 2014 required funding, forcing us to cut back on our milestone ambitions and well, just getting the head down and getting on with it.
In December 2016 we celebrated our 2nd anniversary of iScot Magazine. We're proud of our achievement and the talented individuals, family and benefactors who have encouraged and supported us along the way.
iScot is a grass roots initiative. We are not big business. Our management team consists of 2 unpaid individuals who passionately believe in the cause.
We have no offices or management salaries to fund. (we can't afford to). We work a minimum of 70 hours per week to produce iScot on the leanest of budgets as we strive to grow the business to sustainable levels where it can be self sufficient, and we can push ahead with our on hold projects for iScot Radio.
We've had many challenges along the way what with unionist agitators trying to shut us down, time wasters - wasting time and all the usual unexpected problems that fledgling businesses go through.. but we're still here - which is no mean achievement in the publishing world.
In this our 3rd year we ask you for one final time to support us with this our final crowd funder.
You have seen what we have achieved on a shoestring budget since 2014.
Judge us on our *work then decide whether the venture is worth supporting.
