Short Summary
He had a name before he went insane!
Joker Rising is going to be a full length fan film that we hope will elevate fan films to an art form. It shows the man behind the scars before he becomes the Joker when he was just a small time crook and shows how he eventually becomes the monster that we know him as. We get to see what drove him to madness and just how he exactly got his scars.
Harley Quin is also a major figure in this film and the Riddler is in it like you've never seen him before.
We have been making films ever since we were children and are taking this project very serious. It is to be a drama that has a well written screenplay and will showcase fantastic performances by amazing actors. The video above shows the tone and style we will be going for with this project.
We are extremely excited about bringing this story to life and about giving the Joker his very own film. Think of it like Batman Begins from the twisted side of Gotham.
We don't own the rights to these DC and Warner Bros property and are purely making this out of respect for the characters that we know and love. We will not be making money off of this film but are asking for help with funds so that we can make it happen.

What We Need & What You Get
We need funds to pay many actors for up to 10 days of filming, for catering, for gas, and for props.
We will be sending out the dvd of the teaser trailer along with other short films we have made, this final film signed by the cast once it is done.
The Impact
I believe this project will raise the bar on fan films to come and will make people feel for even the villains. We intend for this film to feel even more grounded in reality than the great Dark Knight Films. We would love to show this at comic con.
I hope that a lot of fans of the DC universe, like ourselves, would like to see just where the Joker came from.
