Project Description:
“KAZE” is a 3d animated narrative that addresses the awakening moment we all face when looking at how we have arrived at where we are in life. This fundraiser is to launch the first season of “KAZE” and will consist of ten fifteen minute episodes telling the story of KAZE's awakening and the beginning of his journey from the forest to the city. This project will take 12 months and require a minimum of 10 artists to produce and will be released as the corner stone original programming for Random Access WebTV.
The pledged goal amount will cover salaries for all 10 artists for the full 12 months of production. It will also provide the office space, equipment and programs needed to complete this production.
Massive layoffs in the Animation and Visual Effects industry have caused a flood of extremely experienced artists. A job, that just six months ago requested a years worth of experience, now requires 5 to 10 years experience with at least two main titles under your credits. This has made it very difficult for new graduates to get their foot in the door and start working in this industry. One of the primary goals of Random Access WebTV is to provide opportunities for new artists. Opportunities to work on real world productions and gain the experience they need.
Every one of the 10 extremely talented artists lined up for this project are recent graduates and are struggling to get their shot at this industry. With this project they will gain needed real world production experience, gain a major title credit and increase their chances at landing a job in their field of study. At the completion of Season One, they will of course be welcomed to stay on for Season Two, but at the very least will have gained skills and experience necessary to help them move on with their careers in the entertainment industry. As recent grads ourselves, we already have a working relationship with an accredited university and plan on reaching out to several others in the state, in a bid to bring more jobs to Texas in the film and animation industry.

Random Access WebTV:
Random Access WebTV was created in May of 2012 by three students, two film majors and one animation major. They first created “The Random Access WebTV Podcast” and, through word of mouth only, have garnished over 5000 listeners from Alaska to the tip of Florida and in 24 different countries. The goal for this network is to be a fully functioning Online Entertainment Network featuring multiple podcasts and all original WebTV content. We already have two new podcasts that will be joining the network, KAZE will be the first of the WebTV content along with nine other productions that are currently in development and ready to go into production. We also have several independent productions that will be joining us and making Random Access WebTV their home.
Our mission here at Random Access WebTV is to, first, provide quality original podcast and WebTV content for our listeners/viewers, and secondly, to provide opportunities for new artists. Opportunities to learn and work on real world projects including Audio, Film and Animation.
With your help reaching our pledged amount, we will be able to take this network to the next level and begin a world wide campaign to build it to new heights and prove that the digital market for original format television, animation and film is viable and the next wave for the entertainment industry. As more and more people become “Unplugged” from the standard cable TV system and move more to the digital access only markets, networks like ours will provide them with new and totally original content that they weren’t getting from the mainstream and cable networks. This digital market is increasing every day and will continue to increase exponentially over the next few years.

At this level we will be able to build out the Audio Studio at our offices to be able to complete audio production for all our programs and podcasts in house.

We will bring the podcast to a video format as well with guests and live band performances and will be able to hire office personnel like an Accounting Manager and a Sales/Marketing Manager full time.

For every $50,000 in this range we will be able to launch one of our other Web Series into production.
