The technology in the band is much like a cell phone and sends location data in two ways: on on a set time schedule (for example, every 10 minutes) and ON-DEMAND. When you hit the location refresh button on the app, it sends a signal through the cell chip in the band. The band then sends the location through the cell chip back to the app. A lot gets done in a very short period of time.

HELPING KIDS WITH AUTISM
Similar to wandering behaviors in seniors with dementia or Alzheimer's, children with Autism are prone to wandering away from a safe environment. Unfortunately, many cases end in tragedy.*
In coordination with the Autism Society of the Heartland, you can donate kidsport GPS bands to kids with Autism. You buy the band; we donate it to the Autism Society-the Heartland. You will get a thank you letter and a picture of
the kid that received your band. If you want it to go to a kid you know, we will make sure that kid gets one. If you want it go to a kid in your area, our local chapter will work with
your chapter to get the band to a kid in your area. Just pick one the Autism Society Perks to the right for $129, $500, or $1,000. There are corporate options available as well. And, it's all tax
deductible.

Are there monthly charges for band? Yes, the fee is $10 a month. Of course there's some taxes and fees on top of that, but we don't anticipate that being more than a couple bucks. And you can turn your service off at any time. No contracts to worry about!

How long will the battery last? It will last between 24-48 hours based on usage. It's much like a cell phone.

Are there different sizes? Three sizes: Little Kid (110 mm-133 mm), Big Kid (134 mm-150 mm) and Biggest Kid (151 mm-170 mm)
- How do I charge kidsport GPS? Simply plug the USB connector into any USB port, which means your wall charger or laptop work great.

Does kidsport GPS work internationally? Yes, our location chip uses GPS, GLONASS and SBAS satellite signals, and will work in over 115 countries worldwide.

How do alerts appear on my device? When your kid holds down the alert button for three seconds, you will immediately receive a text alert. Also, if your kid goes outside the geo-fence that you created online or on your app, you will receive a text letting you know. You will also receive a text once they enter a geo-fence area...so you know they got back to where they are supposed to be.
- Is my kidsport GPS waterproof? Yes...because it's designed to be worn in FUN places...like the beach or pool.
