I'm Phillip Meyer the creator of the upcoming PC game King Voxel. I am creating an action adventure game that captures the magic of some of my favourite classic games "Adventure" on the Atari 2600 and "The Legend of Zelda". King Voxel features a unique cel shaded voxel graphics engine, a world generator, and dynamic camera controls.
I'm giving you the opportunity to immortalize yourself or anything interesting or important to you with a photo that goes into the Voxelot Royal Art Museum located in the king's castle at the start of the game. This picture will be a part of the game forever!

Developing a complex video game is extremely time consuming and therefore an expensive venture. I need community support to spread the word of this project and fund the last stretch of the development and testing.

If you buy the museum photo perk you will help fund the project and you can leave your mark in a great video game! I'm hoping King Voxel will become a classic game that people fondly look back on in the years to come. Your photo will be seen and admired (or puzzled over) by gamers all over the world for years to come!
*I plan to distribute the game through Desura and/or Steam.

If I raise $40k with this campaign then after King Voxel is done and released I will make a King Voxel documentary youtube video for everyone to enjoy! I built King Voxel, the tools, the rendering engine all pretty much from scratch! It's been an incredible journey and if I can afford to spend the time on it I'd love to share the story of King Voxel with a heavy emphasis on the technical aspects of the game. Aspiring game programmers will learn a lot! I'll try to keep it visual and entertaining so people dont get bored, but there will be math and even some code!

I love classic and retro video games! If King Voxel is a success it will allow me to continue to develop more retro styled games! My head is full of ideas for future games! If you like the work I'm doing please support it with a contribution or by spreading the word.
