Kinky Island was born from the love of classic adventure games like Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Flight of the Amazon Queen and Teen Agent. The game began its life as a freeware project (and just a joke) but now development is back on after continued interest in the project from fans. A demo was released in 2006 and at that time the project required new talent to help make it happen. By 2011 we had a brand new team formed and since then many of the games assets have been in production thanks to the hardwork and dedication of the team members who wanted to see the game exist. The game is aimed at mature players who are 18+ as it features nudity, bad langauge and other adult themes !
The project has come a long way since 2006 - now we have all new gorgeous looking art and heaps of animation. The game features:
» Over 30 interactive hand-drawn rooms thanks to Micheal Cross
» Over 20 fully animated characters thanks to Luke Rideout
» Comic writing & music by Mark Lovegrove
» Fun puzzles & classic adventure gameplay thanks to James Spanos
Screen 7 have been developing games for free since 1997 and working on other peoples projects. Over 2012 and the following years, we hope to finally bring Screen 7 up to commercial standard and become a proper games studio. We have plenty of projects in the pipeline that will please all fans of retro adventure games - your contribution to this project will help us deliver even more in the future!
Mark Lovegrove, project leader, has been involved with many games projects usually as music composer. His previous work includes music for Yahtzee Croshaw games Trilby's Notes and Trilby: The Art of Theft, and popular freeware adventure games Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy and Chance Of The Dead. He is currently music producer for a new Yahtzee game and composer for A Night At Camp Ravenwood. Some of his favorite retro adventure games are Fate of Atlantis, Flight of the Amazon Queen, The Dig and Day of the Tentacle.

Luke Rideout is an exceptional pixel artist and runs his own games studio. He saw the potential in Kinky Island and has helped us to bring it to the level of quality it is at now.

Micheal Cross has recently stirred the retro adventure game scene with his project A Night At Camp Ravenwood, which some are likening to the look and feel of Monkey Island. Seriously, go and Google it - you won't be dissapointed! Micheal is creating wonderful retro looking backgrounds, heavily inspired by Amazon Queen.
James (Jim) Spanos our programmer is a well known AGS programmer and runs the AGS Blog.

Our other team members Misja "miez" van Laatum and Paul "subspark" Wilkinson are on hand for various aspects of production.
By funding Kinky Island means this game can finally see the light of day. It also gives you the chance to pre-order and get a copy for yourself before the public. The game will usually cost around £8.99 ($14). Depending on your level of contribution, you can play the beta and even have a character based on yourself in the game. How much is currently done?
Story - 90%
Background art - 40%
Character art - 25%
Music - 10%
Coding - 5%
Hundreds of man-hours will have been poured into the game on completion. We thought carefully about making it free or gaining some renumeration.
With your help the game can be finished and on-sale by Christmas 2012 !!
We're looking for funding in the region of $2000, to help us with the following:

1000 will help:
» Talkie options, the more we raise, the more likely a voice pack will beincluded» SVN, help us cover the costs of the place we store all our files
1500+ will help:
