Short Summary

Labour for Independence is an organisation that works within the Labour Party and wider labour movement to promote the benefits of an independent Scotland. Our membership is made up of Labour Party members,voters and the former of both who have no other political allegiance. We believe that a yes vote in September 2014 will bring about a fairer more equal and tolerant Scotland. We also believe that removed from the Westminster Labour Party, the Scottish Labour Party can once again return to it's founding principles and be once more the party of the people of Scotland.

As a non profit, publicly funded organisation, we rely on the kind donations of the public. In the last 2 years we have delivered over 300,000 Labour for Independence leaflets and spoken at over 100 independence events. In the last 7 months we plan to get our message to every Labour voter and supporter within the country.

By donating to our fund, we can achieve the much needed Labour vote to win a historic victory on September 18th.

What We Need & What You Get

In order to get our message out there we require additional funds to last through the final months of the campaign.

By reaching our goal of £5000 we can;

Allow us to get our materials into as many target areas as possible.
Help to set up local LFI groups which will campaign and hold events in your local area.
Have at least one full time member of staff over the last months of the campaign.
Continue to hold our 6 national events of 'A Labour Vision of Independence.'

*The campaign will receive all funds raised even if it does not reach its goal. Any funds left over at the end of the campaign will be given to foodbanks across Scotland.
