Who are LYONS and PAKCHAR? 

Douglas Lyons & Ethan Pakchar met touring with The Book of Mormon. We are a writing team blending the sounds of Pop, R&B and Theatre.

Douglas Lyons is a graduate from The Hartt School B.F.A music theatre program. He has appeared on Broadway in The Original Cast of The Book of Mormon, and toured with Dreamgirls and RENT.

Ethan Pakchar is a New York City and Atlanta-based composer and guitarist.He received a Dean's Research Grant and a four-year music scholarship from New York University. As a guitarist/banjoist/mandolinist, Ethan has played for the Broadway productions of Wicked, Book of Mormon & Newsies and Duncan Sheik's Off Broadway workshop of "The Aenied."

About our debut album, #LOvE

It all happens on September 9th, 2013 at the Cutting Room NYC. #LOvE will be a 9 track compilation of all original songs recorded live with some of the best vocalists and musicians in NYC. The album's journey explores the highs, lows and everything in between when it comes to love.  The soundtrack has music for every generation, ranging in style of contemporary Top 40( Beyonce, Gavin Degraw & Adele) to the smooth soulful sounds of Jazz/R&B (Anita Baker and Musiq Soulchiild). Each song tells it's own story.
