We've crunched some number with the printer and have good news!We don't need as much funding for a second deck so as of today we've considered Stretch Goal #1 hit!
What does that mean? It means if you have the the Brother Pilot, Oak Street Priest, or an Oppenheimer pledge
you're getting the second deck.
Who Are We?
My name is Ed Teixeira and the I'm founder of Two Hour Wargames. I've designed miniatures games for over ten years and also designed the All Things Zombie board game. I'm a gamer first and aim to make entertaining games playable in two hours or less. We have ten writers, artists and sculptors collaborating to produce fun, quality games.
One of these writers is Carmen Cerra, the co-author and driving force behind this project.
We've already successfully funded our first Indiegogo Project and it's time for another.

What We Need & What You Get
Machinas is our first card driven game that can be played by itself or added to any existing miniatures or RPG. Machinas is a stand alone game that can be used with any Post Apocalyptic rules, such as our own After the Horsemen. Here's the prototype Deck.
![Deck Prototype]()
Each Deck includes the following cards:
- 4 Cars
- 11 Weapons
- 4 Defensive Modifications for your car
- 9 Car Features to customize your car
- 20 Driver Signatures & Tracking cards to personalize your driver
- 18 Bonus Dice cards
This gives you a complete deck of 66 cards allowing you to customize your car and driver in a wide variety of ways.
And since you are not using a game board you can create an unlimited number of race tracks, even race along the highways!

Here's an example of your "dashboard" when you play the game. All the info you need to play the game is at your finger tips. With the player game aids there's no paging through rules looking for charts.

The Impact
Machinas is a post apocalypse racing game that features a unique set of mechanics where the players are involved at all times. Unlike other race games where players can drift far to the rear and out of the action, Machinas uses a "pack" mechanic where players are always in the action. Instead of tracking your position on the track we track your position in the "pack". Here's a picture of the "pack" in action. Notice how you can play Machinas on any flat surface.

All you need to play Machinas comes in one deck of cards and the rules. No track is needed and all you need to know to play the game is on the cards! You will have to provide a couple of everyday six-sided dice, but that's it.Players customize their drivers and cars then race around the track. If you want you can race along highways and roadways in your favorite post apocalyptic setting, it's up to you.
Each driver has three Attributes - Savvy, Tech, and Speed and there's a wide variety of ways to customize your car. When the race starts each player keeps his cards out of sight until needed. Once played the cards are laid out for all to see. This keeps the customization of your car a secret until it is revealed.
But customizing your car and driver is just the beginning.
During the race you have to plan your strategy and tactics. When do you sit back and when do you make your move? Do you try and shoot up your opponents or make dramatic two car passes? Machinas is much more than rolling dice and the drivers with the the right strategy and good tactics will win.
Machinas is easy to learn and play but tougher to master. No two games will ever play the same which makes it a highly enjoyable game that you can play over and over.
Machinas is a perfect one off pickup game, easy to learn and fun to play. For the serious gamers you can choose to play the Campaign Game where your cars and drivers get better as you gain experience.
As we mentioned earlier, Machinas is perfect to use with any Post Apocalypse RPG or minis game, such as our After the Horsemen rules. Add Machinas to your games whenever you need fun and exciting car chases and simple vehicle rules. In fact, the rules cover how to do this!
And remember, if we don't reach our goal all of the pledges are refunded.
Stretch Goals
Our primary focus is getting the card game produced. But if we raise more funds than we need for the basic game we'll open up some Stretch Goals as a way to say thanks.
Here they are:
Stretch Goal #1 - $3,500
Another new second deck of cards that adds more vehicle types as well as weapons and modifications to increase your options and enjoyment. When added to the original deck, this will give you eight vehicles to use in your games.
Stretch Goal #2 - $5,000
A new third deck of cards. Still more vehicles, and more weapons to further increase your games and enjoyment. Add all three decks and we're talking about twelve vehicles!
Stretch Goal #3 - $10,000
The moon! We have sculptors and casters standing by to produce a set of four 1/87th scale Machinas cars if we can hit this goal. Hey, we know you don't need these to play but they will look real good.
Add On #1
Want more? Get additional decks for $15, a savings of 40% from the MSRP. Just add it to your pledge.
And here they are - Carmen's Custom Cars
Here are the custom cars only available in the OPPENHEIMER pledge (one set of 4 for each pledge) and cannot be added to other pledges. When they're gone, they're gone.
These are 1/64th scale die-cast cars.
