Hello!

We are Major Parkinson. We're a band with big ideas. But too little money.

With your help, however, hopefully we can move a few steps closer to realizing our latest creative endeavour. In the last few years, we've released Major Parkinson (2008), and Songs from a solitary home (2010).

Status

The good news: Recording for the new album is 99% complete, and we're currently mixing the thing with Mr. Yngve Sætre in Duper Studio. It sounds like nothing we've ever heard before.

HERE's a little sneak preview of the madness contained within Twilight Cinema. Note: These are pretty raw mixes and will eventually sound a lot better.

The bad news: We have a few big bills coming up, and we're fast running out of $$$, £££ and €€€.

Basically, this is the deal:
1. We need money for mixing and mastering the new album.
2. We need money to print it - on vinyl and CD.
3. In addition we now want to print both our previous releases on vinyl, including a glorious golden box set containing all 3 albums.

Budget:

Mixing and mastering (new album): 9500 €
Re-mastering old albums for vinyl: 2500 €
Printing costs: 12.500 €
Artwork: 1.500 €

This is an ambitious project, with an ambitious budget, and to be honest, it's going to be a back-breaking task for us to pay for all this up front. We've already broken the bank to get this far in the recording process for Twilight Cinema. So we've found that it just isn't possible to complete this without a bit of help, and we turn to you, our fans, to keep us going on this crazy carousel. It means the world to us that so many of you have embraced our music, and we hope that you want to help make this release just as spectacular as you deserve.

We're hoping to get half of the overall remaining budget from this little fundraiser, which means a total donation of 13.000 €.
