Check out our new book cover for "The Magic of Science" written by our co-founders and illustrated by Laura St. Bernard! Have fun exploring the magical world of science with little Keshia and Tiffany as they learn just how cool science can be. But wait...the excitment does not stop there! In combination with the STEM genius.box a special child in your life will be able to carry out all of the science experiments that little Keshia and Tiffany perform in "The Magic of Science."
This is a great gift for any young child (ages 5-6) in your life! :-D

Hey! Thanks for stopping by our campaign and checking out ManyMentors! We appreciate your love and support :)
Truthfully, Tiffany and I met in 2011 under false pretenses. I was told she was looking for a mentor, and she was told I was looking for a partner for a mentoring organization. As luck has it, we both got what we were looking for and have been great business partners and friends since!
In 2011 I was mentoring a group of high school students (who are now all sophomores in college!) who had lots of questions that I could not answer. Instead of consulting Google, I started asking my friends with various expertise to come talk with them. When scheduling began to conflict with their availability, we started Skyping them into class sessions. This was the beginning of ManyMentors. We originally set out to support mentoring via video conferencing, but now we are that and so much more!
We picked the name ManyMentors because we both recognized that there was no one person who had helped us along the way, but rather several or many people who had been important role models and mentors in our lives. Since I'm a big fan of alliteration, that sealed the deal and we officially registered with the State of Connecticut on August 12, 2011.
Since then, we have done lots of great work in Connecticut, and have enabled others to do so as well (See "Our Impact")! Now we are ready to mobilize and engage others across the nation in our mentoring and outreach efforts. With the successful completion of this campaign, we will be able to do just that!
Keshia received her Biomedical Engineering degree from the University of Virginia in 2008 and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Regenerative Engineering at the University of Connecticut (with plans to graduate this year!).
Tiffany received her Associates of Science degree from Tunxis Community College and Bachelors of Art degree in Biology from the University of Connecticut. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. studies in Genetics, Genomics and Development at Cornell University.
