March of the Art Dolls!
This project was created to help me to mass produce my newest upcoming doll design -- Baby Velociraptors! In the past, I have created dolls influenced and based on Woolly Mammoths, Woolly Rhinos, Sabre Tooth Tigers, Gryphons--I have even created my own fantasy species, and done custom work for clients!
While I love coming up with new designs, my resources are limited. I can only make a few dolls at a time! With this project, I hope to gain a means to mass produce my Baby Velociraptor design, so that more people can enjoy them!
Each art doll I create, whether one-of-a-kind or reproduced from casts of my original work, is hand-painted, sewn and assembled by myself. It is a time-consuming process, but very rewarding! I love seeing my dolls pique peoples' interests, even more so when they are adopted into good homes!
Risks and challenges
1.) TO CONTRIBUTORS PURCHASING A DOLL: Please note that creating these pieces of artwork takes time! Each doll will be worked on individually. While I have given an estimated completion and shipping time frame, outside factors (emergencies, work, etc) can play a role in how long it might take for your doll to be completed. I will personally keep you informed on any delays that may arise!
2.) Custom dolls will take longer than the Baby Velociraptors! This is because I will need to create a completely new design for you! Your design will not be reproduced, so the creature you get will be one-of-a-kind.
3.) For those purchasing prints or posters: These items will ship as soon as payment is cleared, and/or the project goal is met.
