Short Summary

A group of co-chairs of the March on Springfield for Marriage Equality Oct. 22, 2013 needs help in paying for various aspects of the March. The event is scalable based on funds raised.

The funds will be filtered thru a 501-c-3 group. 100% of the funds will be used to pay for costs of promoting the March (t-shirts, posters, stickers, etc.) and actually producing the March.

This is an educational event.

IMPORTANT: Equality Illinois is just the fiscal agent for this event, they are not running the event.

What we need 

We need Team Leaders across the state of Illinois to make sure they get materials into all House of Rep districts in the state.

We need corporations to underwrite t-shirts and buses for their own employees, to give them Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013 off as a service day. It will serve as a marketing effort for the company while increasing employee morale and loyalty.

We need people to "show up ... one day ... for the rest of your life" on Oct. 22, 2013 in Springfield, Illinois.

What funds will help pay for:

1) Posters

2) Post cards

3) Promotional materials such as stickers, t-shirts, etc.

4) Buses

5) Costs of producing the March in Springfield
