The product also features 3 additional remote cameras that can be strategically placed throughout your car: in the back windshield of the car and on the inside of each door:

When an accident occurs, the impact will trigger each camera to take a picture immediately after the collision, thus capturing a snapshot of the other car in the accident:

The Camera will also record a short VIDEO, moments after impact, for further protection.
Mi Alerts also allows you to access the cameras at any time through our website or your cell phone!

Our Story...
As mentioned in the video, my car was hit in a parking lot and the person who dinged my car did not leave a note. Little did I know that the person who hit my car did me the biggest favor in the world and that little "ding" in my door would change my life. I guess we never realize the most significant moments in life while they are happening, and sometimes, things we consider unlucky are meant to be.
Initially, the product was going to be strictly an alert sent to your mobile device due to impact on your automobile. However as Darcy, C-Man (our engineer) and I researched our product more and more, we decided to integrate a GPS tracking system to the sensory system. This allowed us to move beyond, not only car accidents, but also autombiles in general and it opened the door for other applications as well. While watching the news last year, I heard that a little girl was ALMOST abducted and even though she was alright, the story really struck a chord. While not having any children of my own, I have small nieces and nephews, and there would be nothing worse if something happened to them (or to any innocent child for that matter). If we could help prevent only ONE similar situation, everything we are doing would be worhwhile. So this was the origin of our child finder. And because we love our dog (you met the Gunther in the video) and care about his safety, we thought why not make a pet finder too.
The last piece of the puzzle was the home monitoring device. Along with children, pets and cars, people also hold their homes very close to their hearts. With this in mind, we added sensors that can be utilized in windows and doors for houses. We are now confident that Mi Alerts encompasses all that people care about protecting.
While the initial product was primarily for automobiles, since then Mi Alerts has evolved into so much more...A Central Monitoring System, located right in your pocket, where you can track the most important things in life.
Together, with your help, we can make everyone's lives a little safer and more secure.
Thank You,
Tommy & Darcy
