Who We Are

Minna was founded by a group of Stanford-trained mechatronics engineers, product designers, and sexperts who shared a frustration with the lack of well-designed, responsive vibrators that could work for couples as well as individuals.

We know that healthy sexuality is fundamental to human happiness and we believe that vibrators should be innovative, thoughtfully designed, and masterfully crafted. Given our background, it is no surprise that our approach to developing products centers around fundamentally innovating on the technology used in vibrators and how they're controlled to create a pleasureable experience that's different every time.

We launched our award-winning first product, Ola, about a year and a half ago and have been thrilled with the response. We've been working hard since then on Limon and are finally ready to bring it to life on a larger scale.

Why Create Limon?

Our core mission at Minna is to improve the way people and couples experience pleasure and intimacy. In developing Limon, we tried to create an approachable, fun product that could accomplish that goal. Its unique form perfectly leverages our squeezable control technology and its exclusive Rumble Motor Technology packs a powerful punch. Put it all together and we think Limon is the best way out there for couples and individuals to explore and enjoy their sexuality.

Why Indiegogo?

Although Limon is our second product, we are still a shoestring operation - our team is just 5 people (only 1 of whom is full time). This means our campaign has two huge benefits:

1. Help us cover manufacturing costs: making physical objects is expensive! There are a number of up-front capital investment costs that we need to pay for before we can bring Limon to the world.  About 2/3 of the money we need is for tooling such as molds or assembly machines and 1/3 is for parts.
2. User feedback: we believe passionately in user-centric design and getting the chance to interact with our users to find out what they love. Hearing what makes them tick makes the things we build that much better. We want to hear from you, either via Indiegogo or at customerservice@minnalife.com.

Schedule

Limon is scheduled to begin production immediately following the completion of the Indiegogo campaign in June. We expect first units to be available in November and will fulfill backer rewards with the first possible batch of products. Because we will use our existing supply chain and manufacturing partners, we expect to be able to avoid the delays and hurdles that often crop up when entering production for the first time.

Is Limon waterproof?

--> Yes, Limon is 100% waterproof and fully submersible for shower or bath use or cleaning. Putting it in the dishwasher for cleaning or any other environment with extreme heat or chemicals is not recommended.

How do you clean Limon?

--> We recommend mild soap and water with a wet cloth or silicone-safe toy cleaner.

Is Limon safe to use with lubricant?

--> Yes, although silicone-based lubricants should not be used with Limon.

How long does a battery charge last?

--> The rechargeable Li-ion battery should last ~1.5 to 3 hours, depending on use conditions (for instance, if Limon is playing a wave vibration pattern, it will last longer than if it is set on maximum vibration strength).

How long does Limon take to charge?

--> Limon should fully recharge within about 1 hour.

How do you recharge Limon?

--> Limon comes with a USB cable and magnetic charging dock. The magnets in the product and charging dock mean you don't have to worry about connecting it backwards.

Is Limon body-safe?
