Here's the deal: The National Religious Broadcasters holds a massive convention every February in Nashville, and we were able to win a free pass (worth $570!) that includes pitch meetings for "My Life Is a Movie" with 3 separate major distributors. On top of that, the conventions hosts many other national distributors and television networks/stations that we will be able to meet and pitch "My Life Is a Movie," but we need help in getting there with some newly created PR kits featuring movie screeners, posters, one-sheets, data CDs with film clips, photos and postcards. Plus, there is a theater available at the convention where we can hold a "My Life Is a Movie" screening where everyone there can catch the movie on the big screen. What a great opportunity to introduce our film to so many industry professionals in one location. The film could end up on movie screens across the world, have national and local airings on television networks, and be in all the bookstores and rental shops. Is this something you'd like to see? We need your help to make it happen.

Your contribution scores great perks, too, including an exclusive Cast/Crew DVD with the full 98 minute movie, plus great Extras including music videos of the 4 songs from the film, and behind-the-scenes clips. You can also grab an e-version of the novelization of the film (which the movie is based upon) that is currently available no where else on the planet. There's a copy of the script available, too, as well as a mini-poster, T-shirt, and a CD with all the songs from "My Life Is a Movie." And if you are feeling extremely generous, you can secure an Executive Producer credit that will be listed in the movie as well as the movie's imdb site.

Reaching our goal will allow us to produce these new PR kits: the cost of printing and duplicating, paper, poster and card stock, ink, postage, and mailers, blank DVDs and CDs, photos, as well as gas for getting to the convention and the overnight stay. We also will be able to expand, update, and improve the "My Life Is a Movie" website, perhaps with its own address. You can visit the current "My Life Is a Movie" website at
My Life Is a Movie, where you can find out more about the film including a link to the trailer on YouTube:
"My Life Is a Movie" trailer. And any surplus from the campaign will go toward submissions into future film festivals, including the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase, and the St. Louis International Film Festival, as well as other great national festivals.
Wyatt Monroe (Elijah Ward) is a ten-year-old filmmaker who copes with his dysfunctional home life by escaping into his make-believe world of movies and tv shows made possible by the video app on his new cellphone. His life is an Action Movie, a Horror Movie, a Spy Movie, a Talk Show, a Home FIx-It Show, a Travel Show, even a Cooking Show. But the "actors" don't take his direction and the "script" is in need of a rewrite. Wyatt's sister Lyndsy (Stephanie Swink) is an aspiring painter who is tormented by her stepbrother and neglected by her own mother. When Lyndsy, too young to drive, decides to run away from home, Wyatt tags along to film their difficult search for a better life. There's suspense, drama, even comedy, but in the long run, "My Life Is a Movie" is a plea to NOT seek answers by running away, but to look to those around us, search answers in the Good Book, and explore all the resources that have placed before us.
Please help get this movie in front of as many people as possible. This chance for major distribution is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Please tell everyone you know about this opportunity: share it! talk it up! make noise! We need YOU!
