NatAmGoGo: Help Save America’s Heritage
Imagine not being able to communicate with your children or grandchildren. That’s what happens when a Native American language disappears. And languages are dying at a rate of one every two weeks. You can make a difference by giving to the NatAmGoGo (Native American Indiegogo) benefit.
The Project:
When you donate to NatAmGoGo, you will help develop a program to ensure that America’s ancient societies survive. Your gift will help produce and distribute the audiobook version of CRESCENDO by author Deborah J Ledford from her award-wining Steven Hawk/Inola Walela series.
IOF Productions Ltd. will donate proceeds from the sale of the CRESCENDO audiobook to Blue Feather Corporation, a New Mexico 501(c)3 non-profit foundation dedicated to preserving language and culture through Native American traditional education.
How You Will Be Blessed:
We will thank you for your donation with one of the valuable gifts shown to the right—everything from book downloads to stunning Native American jewelry.
Depending upon your donation level, you could receive the complete unabridged audiobook recording of CRESCENDO narrated by actress Christina Cox (The Chronicles of Riddick, Better Than Chocolate, Dexter, NCIS, Blood Ties, Defying Gravity, Castle, 24, Nikki & Nora).

Other gifts include downloads and print books of Deborah J Ledford's Steven Hawk/Inola Walela Native American series. You could receive an autographed poster, special edition version of the audiobook or personalized print books. You could even receive a 5-1/4” sterling silver bracelet inlaid with black jade from Wyoming and blue gem turquoise from Nevada by renowned Taos artist Causandra Dukepoo and Hopi artist Michael Dukepoo (valued at $4,500). The artists donated these items and more to help further the cause of the NatAmGoGo campaign! Also, a sterling silver bracelet and ring by Navajo silversmith Jim Nez (valued at $2,800) donated by Wahleah’s Gallery, a third generation Taos Pueblo family owned gallery on the reservation.

Native American languages and culture are disappearing.
The NatAmGoGo audiobook production/Native American language and culture benefit will provide funds to create and operate programs to ensure that our ancient societies survive. There are estimates that a language fades away every two weeks, and along with that our historical knowledge.
IOF Productions Ltd will produce and distribute the audiobook version of CRESCENDO by award-winning author Deborah J Ledford, from her Steven Hawk/Inola Walela Native American suspense thriller series from Second Wind Publishing.

CRESCENDO will be performed by TV and film actress, Christina Cox, recorded at Costa Mesa Recording Studios in southern California by an experienced staff. This first-rate, high-quality recording will equal narrated books presented by the top publishing houses.
The audiobook will be recorded in November for a December 2013 release, available to download and purchase as CDs.
Why an Audiobook Campaign?
The gift of storytelling is every bit as powerful today as it was for our ancestors. Audiobooks have the ability to move us in ways words on a page cannot. Deborah’s books are award winners, receiving critical acclaim and rave reviews from her readers. Combined with the narrating talent of Christina Cox, CRESCENDO is a perfect candidate for Deborah’s first audiobook production, and an ideal fit for the NatAmGoGo campaign.
The Players:
Part Eastern Band Cherokee, Deborah J Ledford spent her summers growing up in the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina where her novels are set. She learned the art of storytelling from her grandfather, Zeb Ledford, who never learned to read or write—instead relied on his wits, sense of humor, and the power of the spoken word to live his life. This gift of storytelling is the main reason Deborah became a writer.
Floyd Daniel Gomez, aka “Mountain Walking Cane” is a tribally enrolled member of Taos Pueblo, raised to respect cultural integrity and a deep respect for all backgrounds. A Tribal Police Officer, he was later appointed to serve as War Chief Secretary. Later, as first sheriff to the Taos Pueblo Governor, he upheld traditional and modern laws of his tribe. As Tribal Secretary to the Taos Pueblo Governor, he became fluent in Government relationships, Federal, State, and tribal laws, cultural
preservation, historical preservation, native language maintenance, social program development, and the preservation of tribal sovereignty. As President and CEO of the Blue Feather Corporation, Floyd is inspired to dedicate his life to this calling of native language and culture preservation.
IOF Productions Ltd, an independent media company established as an Arizona S Corporation June, 1988. Representative of Deborah J Ledford’s literary, film, and audiobook projects.
Who Will Benefit:
Blue Feather Corporation, Taos, New Mexico, is the Native American foundation structured to protect, preserve and enhance language and culture programs.
Deborah J Ledford met Floyd “Mountain Walking Cane” Gomez in 2006 while doing research for her novel, SNARE (The Hillerman Sky Award Finalist and New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards Finalist), on New Mexico's Taos Pueblo Reservation. Several years later Floyd expressed the need to protect languages and culture on the reservations. His Blue Feather Corporation foundation will create and implement language and culture programs for Native Americans, young and old.
50% of all royalties from downloads and sales from the CRESCENDO audiobook will go to the Native American non-profit foundation and their programs to protect their languages and culture. All funds raised beyond the goal funding amount for the NatAmGoGo Indiegogo campaign will go directly to the foundation.
Don’t let another language or culture disappear.
