You were used to a different life while the days passed peacefully. Suddenly after peace came the war. Greece in crisis. People lost their jobs, which as a result changed their way of life. Somewhere in between came the struggle, the struggle for a better future...

What are you doing as artist when the society, that you are part of, changes constantly? Do you choose to remain silent or to do what you can to motivate, inspired by the situation?

About a year ago a strike took place n Hellenic Halyvourgia (steel) and lasted nine whole months, it was the longest in Greece for many decades.

The documentary follows the events of this particular strike, but does not recite only to that.

It was a struggle that was embraced by the whole of the Greek working class and became worldwide known.

Obscure heroes of the everyday life, came over their fears and agonies while fighting for a better future for them and their children. We'll try to show that for the evolvement of society the everyday man, the working man has a main role, whlie trying to answer the aforementioned questions.

Why we ask for your help

The fact that we have succeeded to gather all this footage is very important, but the big challenge for us is that the end film will be as close to reality as possible while retaining it's artistic qualities. We need your support for this project to materialise and make people think about their impact in the world they live in and that they can make a difference!

We are in the final stage and we need your support. Missing some shots that need a full crew, equipment that I'll have to rent.

There's also the matter of post production (grading, editing, original music etc.)
